What is the stock made of? It depends if its wooden then yes you can make it look brand new even with bad damage but it usually requires refinishing it.

    Light sandpaper.

It’s aluminium stock I believe. It’s got a dark grey/black texture paint. Just seems to scratch so easily.

From experience i find paint doesn't adhere very well to aluminum.

If its an on going problem perhaps Duracoting would be an idea. It would solve your scratch problems and possible make the stock more resilient to future scratching.

    Talk to gunhappy about it.
