Funny thing about the competition, you think you've seen a winning performance, then it's shattered!

That's some doing from the Miley family and particularly the father.

He was a great footballer for Kildare in his day. Tough.

I missed the beginning. Why is the wall first? Didnt think it was first last week

Oh right but even the daughter managing over 7 minutes was unreal.

    Yes, young enough girl.

Don't know about the rest of you, but the coach chatting their encouragement would do my head in, I'd rather my own silence.

Young Cody is fair young looking. Looks 11!

Probably allows for multiple episodes to be filmed in one day.

Incredible, especially as you could see her starting to struggle a few minutes in and she really put her mind over matter!

The Cody lad is such a wee dote too.

This relay looks like great craic!!

The ordering of the events has a lot to do with the outcome. If the relay race was first the family with 3 lads would have done well! Maybe a combination of events wud be fairer like subtract the time from the sitting event from the time taken to do the hay bale race or something?

The balance beam is only 5 or 6 steps.

They're feckn straw bales Darragh Moloney, not hay. Arrgh!

I was thinking that about the one on the cube before, if u took 4 huge steps quickly and got it done youd be laughing and less time to loose your balance

    Tycie showed good pace there.

Usually men 52-64yrs excel at mentally tough events like Hanging Tough and backs to the wall. In running events they have endurance but the burst of explosive pace that someone has in their 20s and 30s is gone.

We knew the minute we seen the last family that they wouldn't go through as no auld lad on team!

It was unreal the way three fathers lasted in that wall challenge.

I'd fear though it will wreck them for other rounds.

Love the Cody's, the little fella looks about 10 against others but he is fast.

I love Davey as a coach , especially the way he speaks encouragingly to the younger team members .

    Paddy is unreal for 14

Well done to the Mileys go on Kildare :) .

A father or strong son got injured a few years ago on a team. The opposing team dropped a strong team mate, and lost.

Mileys weren't going to drop the dad!

He was unbelievable on wall challenge he kept them going for so much longer through encouragement.

He is a great coach no wonder he does so well in GAA.

Unreal. He is a lot stronger than he looks.

Married Ronans role is fairly pointless now that she doesnt speak to the contestants. Daragh Maloney could do the intro and outro sure!

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,530 ✭✭✭PieOhMy

Paddy flew up that wall on his own and first like it was nothing, seriously impressive !

I'm sure she is still been paid plenty for doing very little!

She is not needed at all.
