They know that. In the same way nobody really believed Obama was born in Kenya. They're just inviting you to waste time pointing out they're talking bollocks instead of the fact a load of Nazis tried to take Congress hostage and likely massacre them with the approval of the outgoing president.

    Do you really believe that?

It's quite amazing that some people justify the shooting and/or killing of a black person by what they were doing (however minor), what they did in the past, what they may have been thinking of doing, what the shooter thought they were thinking of doing or what the person they were with was doing (and so forth).
Yet when a white person gets shot after invading government buildings with an armed mob having threatened to capture and/or murder members of the government and trying to climb through a window with armed guards on the other side protecting the area where these government members under threat were located, all of a sudden it "could have been handled better".

That's pointless statement because it can very easily be used in both directions.

When a <insert race here> person is killed by police it's justified, but when a <insert other race here> person is killed it 'could have been handled better'.

    Not everything is about race.

At the same time his family made a statement: "Many details regarding Wednesday's events and the direct causes of Brian's injuries remain unknown and our family asks the public and the press to respect our wishes in not making Brian's passing a political issue".

I think people should tone down the claims until the cause of death, and indeed the events leading up to it, are clarified.
None of that really matters when he'd be alive today if the capital hadn't been attacked by terrorists.

Says this guy who is trying to sit there and tell us a woman tried to break into the chambers of the Capitol where the 2nd, 3rd and 4th in command, as well as the incoming Vice President were being secured and that she did so just for a chat.

Trying to take the moral high ground while also trying to tell us that this wasn't what it looked like? Go do one, seriously.

I'm pretty sure some posters would be claiming the Nazis weren't actual Nazis at this stage.

Oh they already do, they say there were actual socialists!

Hitler: Instructs army to invade neighbouring countries

    Allies: Invade Germany

Hitler: You're so vicious, you know that? So vicious. So unfair.

Just stop. They wore nazi apparel. They hung nazi flags. They were same type who were happy to march alongside the nazi flag in Charlottesville. They went to marches advertised with nazi symbology. They are nazis. We know they are nazis. You are arguing for nazis.

The claim made was Trump was leading a Nazi group to take over congress and murder the politicians inside. I don't recall any media making such a claim in their reporting. Trump/Qanon extremists is the terminology I recall being used.

Here you go knock yourself out, videos/pics of where the officer died.

Typical Boards thread. Actual news dies down and discussion goes down such a deep rabbit hole we've made it to Nazi Germany.

What I'll say is this. It's fantastic that Trump is leaving but let's not give Biden an easy ride of it. At the heart of the Black Lives Matter... whatever you want to call that action .... is a real social injustice. That seems to have got lost somewhere or drowned out by other legitimate cries of social injustice.
For those that called out social injustice during the Trump administration, what has Biden promised beyond getting Trump out of office. Whatever it is, pressure should remain to make sure he delivers. Whatever about the false promises of making America great. Keep pressure on the Democrats to make America better.

    This too shall pass.

Here's the fact check for you. In fact both she and Biden actively condemned violence.

I think the whole matter of incitement to insurrection and the new impeachment had to be dealth with first.

But I see your opportunity to sweep and move on. Many GOP leaders attempting the same.

    Not gonna happen though.

Translation of the above.. People can think for themselves, they don't need the media to tell them what to think..

Something you argued people weren't doing, I believe it was Overheal.. Logic is failing you Sand.

How anyone can argue that Trump wanted these people to instigate a coup and overthrow democracy is beyond me? Really? Wow, I know Trump isn't a career politician but you would have thought that, if he wanted to instigate a coup, you know maybe don't rely on a bunch of Yahoos and hooligans? I don't know, maybe use, uh, the military? Isn't that Coup Planning 101?

Or, you know, infiltrate the universities, and over 3 generations have thousands of professors sympathetic to your cause pump out millions of True Believers from their Seminaries of Socialism who then go onto infiltrate media, local government, the legal system and politics so that when the time was right they could help you steal an election and cover for you in the government and media about it afterwards. You know like the Left have just done.

As to BLM vs Trump supporters attacking federal buildings, the difference between "resistance" and "insurrection" is merely corporate backing. Nothing else.

There is a chance that the military command would not follow his order.

Gob****e yahoos on the Mall? they'll do whatever he asks them. Plenty would be hoping that, given enough of a spark at the start that it would turn into a wildfire.

Don't forget that some of these people are seriously deluded to begin with.

Would it be likely? Probably not. Would it be impossible - I wouldn't say so either.

As I said before though and I'll repeat again, I was shocked that they overran the Capitol. I still am

It's bizarre how they will wonder aloud how MAGA types can believe such crazy ideas, yet they come up with their own equally looney beliefs. The US is a deeply broken country and it will never be fixed.

    .

They wouldn't. The army swear an oath to the constitution, not the president.

Lauren Boebert is the loon who did that "concealed carry to congress" ad last week. She tweeted this within minutes of the footage we've seen from elsewhere in the building of that lone cop trying to lure the mob from the doors of the Senate.

Why was she telegraphing Pelosi's movements?

Vague remarks about other loony beliefs... Meanwhile the events in the Capitol effectively confirm what US intelligence have stated in last few years. Right wing domestic terror is the greatest threat that the US faces.

Interesting to see the usual posters claiming that the trump protester was a veteran etc and was correct in what she did, literally copy and pasting argument points from the usual scrote sites for white nationalists, while ignoring the fact that they killed a police officer who was a veteran and upheld the oath they took.

    Twitter the source? No.

The thousands of people who were right there with their cameras out, who then uploads their pics/videos of the events to their social media accounts..

Unarmed protesters trying to gain access to their representatives is hardly domestic terror. People trying to spin this up into the beerhall putsch need to change the media they consume.

But they were armed and it wasn't about gaining access to them, they wanted to kill them!
