Your posting history indicates that you are more anti Liverpool than a Manchester United fan, that's fine, we all have our problems but no need to say you are neutral.

Hahaha how the hell do you make that out? Of course i dont want Liverpool to win but im a united fan first and foremost.

Two very promising positions die with Walcott

Mod: Let's leave it there folks, the thread is for talking about the Premier League not posters talking abut posters or requiring posters to defend their preferences.

    Thank you.

Martin Tyler sounds like he's dying of the cold in commentary.

Ings has always been a pretty top tier player. Just like many others a nasty injury record really scuppered him a lâ Ledley King/Micah Richards/Owen Hargreaves/Jack Wilshere etc.

Yeah, it's that teal/green thats on the crest, which is also the colour of the Liver-bird on the Liver Building. (basically oxidised copper).

Really brilliant. Was a gamble considering his fitness issues, but it's really paid off. Seems a really sound fella too.

I thought with his injury history he'd be in and out of team regularly but he's been excellent, I thought he was older than 28

He's not scuppered though. Fully recovered unlike the others mentioned.

Saints doing well despite all their injuries to first team players.

Playing quite well to be fair. Liverpool will need to go up a few gears to get something out of it.

They are dirty hoors too, when we played them they got away with bloody murder. Very fit and well drilled team.

Southampton games are often that way. They press and compete, get tight, make lots of tackles and make or draw fouls. Second only to Leeds in tackles

They will ease back at some stage and that is when I would expect Liverpool to get some more play going.

    Some great Saints performances.
About 9 poor - terrible performances for Liverpool.
    Refs having a shocker too.

So far it looks like Southampton are dealing with all their injuries better then liverpool. Would expect klopp to fire them up for second half im sure he has plan B.

Interesting second half ahead. Expect at least 1 change at ht, Ox has been non existent.

Very disapointing as a Liverpool fan.

see how the 2nd half goes but think it may be a Manchester title race.
Cant see Liverpool being in it.

Don't know who's having a worse game, the refs or Liverpool.

Indeed he is, he has allowed Thiago off with alot of Nigly challenges. You would expect him to be hooked at half time surely.

Definitely Liverpool, zero shots on target wasn't it? Can't really blame the ref or Martin Tyler for that.

I don't think so, this game is over. Liverpool need a covid break badly. They are getting nothing from this game.

Still 45+ left. Saints will start to tire, if lfc can keep it at 1 nil for the first 20/25 then I'd expect them to get at least a draw. Ye still have some of the best players in the league on the field that can conjure something from nothing.

I hate the changes to the offside rule e.g. in the Southampton-Liverpool game, ball is played over the top, Salah obviously offside, no flag, he continues on, plays the ball, Forster clears it at a stretch and finally the flag goes up. Stupid change imo. What if a player e.g. Forster gets injured on the play when it is always going to be called back?

Paul Ince has barely aged a day in 20 years.

Something is not right though, believe me 30 years of watching them you know when things aren't right. This will finish 2 nil with a mistake for Southamptons 2nd goal.
