That's mental if that's true. And if that's true, they really can't make up their mind about the handball rules.

VAR check everything. Even though the player was offside, at the point of the ball being played forward he hadn’t interfered or went for the ball. So let’s just say Coady did an Henry on it, VAR would have brought it to the attention of the referee. That’s my understanding but I’m open to correction.

Not hard to see why they were disposed from a top quality Champions league group but definitely have a chance for 2nd in a poor quality premier league this year.

    Liverpool still piss up

United now very much in the title race
Play Liverpool in 3 games time and could very well be ahead of them going into that game

It's 15 games in, you might as well include villa, Leicester and Everton too. If these teams and united are in it 10 games to go then yes they are in a title race.

Think it hit the top of the knee of the other defender.

Your dead right it's Liverpools to throw away at this stage.

Bizarre talk of a title race. We saw Spurs go from 1st to 5th over 2 games a couple of weeks ago, the way this season is going you’ll have to wait until the last few games to see who’s still in with a shout.

It's in Utd's hands too, as they have to play Liverpool :)

Shows the insane level City & Liverpool took the league to over the last 3 seasons. This one is shaping up to be more like a “normal” season

6 points separate the top 9 teams n the league after 16 games.

They are all in a title race.

United aint good enough, Liverpool have the experience and squad to trounce this poor league, something wrong with squad management if they don't.

I'm 99.9% sure I can rule Sheffield United out now......maybe Fulham too.

In fairness you can’t blame anyone other than kung fu Pickford for the problem in Liverpool’s squad.

Isn't Utd's squad more expensive? Same could surely be said for them.

Utd must be favourites now with Liverpools injuries, just a question of will they bottle it now or not.

The Man U squad is the only behind City as the most expensive squad.

Then Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool & Everton.

Arsenal are the real outliers there.

Yeah, injuries have reeeeeeally slowed Liverpool down this season...

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

I thought posters weren't allowed to downplay their own teams chances on this thread?

Money spent does not equate to better squads sure united spent money terrible while klopp and pool directors made some of the best signings in years. Pool will be miles clear by March or April easily.

Liverpool must have massive funds to spend on new cb's since they've spent so little during their successful period.

That wouldnt suit the underdog narrative.
