Now that Xmas is over, I nominate Tesco as winner of the seasonal booze bargain award.

Two slabs for €35 including the magical 500ml Guinness; 25% off 6 bottles of wine and some good spirits deals, particularly gin.

Their wine selection is pretty much the worst in Irish supermarkets (apart from Lidl) but they have a couple of ok bottles.

They say Christmas day is for children but I bet there was a lot of happiness around here on the 25th after this years booze bargains:

When is the date that the Dunnes 10 off 50 vouchers can no longer be used for alcohol or wine?

So January 10th is last date to stock y up on wine and spirits. Thanks.

Haven't heard much about this in the media over the last couple of weeks - usually when there is a big change like this coming its plastered all over the papers ! Maybe I missed it though..

Anyway I don't think they are doing it in the north so as I said in previous posts ill head up to Jonesborough once every two months and stock up not paying anymore for booze.
