This is the song they wrote for Aung San Suu Kyi.
    #awkward

Didnt see it, but dont tell me they sung unplayed piano tonight??? If ever a song showed how pretentious and clueless these 'politically active' Irish singers are its this. 'Black Lives Matter' will be the future Aung San Suu Kyi.

I love Bono - had the balls to be an artist.
To be different - in a very tough place and difficult time in Ireland.

And - he let Irish men know it is ok to be soft - and funny and loving and be open.

    Fair play to him.

And they have unbelievable songs besides all the bull****.

    No. Really

I preferred their earlier stuff...when they were 'The Hype'

He looks like a terminally sick Elton John.

Just thinking, he sounds like he’s had a few ;)

He actually looks like somebody with chronic liver failure. I don't think he's a big drinker or anything, but there are other causes of similar health issues.

    Inhaler.

Hmmm...remind us again, who's in that band?

Well it seems Bono has a stake in them.

Is he drunk or just a bit off ?

Cheeky plug for his son's band!

    The vanity of baldness.

He performed in a video without it on.
Bono on the other hand has had 'work done' on his mullet.

I hope the grand finale is a minutes silence after all the songs I’ve heard so far.

Bono is literally saying he gives a lot of money to charity but doesn't like to talk about it

Ryan ignoring the Edge. Wanting Bono to answer everything. Everything time the Edge speaks it's like '' ok ok'' Now Bono...

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,101 ✭✭✭TheRiverman

Ryan will break his ankle stamping on it.

I think after 40 years Mr. Edge (if in fact that is his real name) is probably used to that :D

He has spoke about buying ppe twice now

Ok we get it bono, you bought some ppe

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,537 ✭✭✭lawrencesummers

Don’t blame him. As insufferable as Bono can be, he’s far more interesting than beanie boy!

I don't feel like I ever fully got U2 either. Wasn't around for their best stuff: Joshua Tree etc. They seem to split opinion like nobody's business though. Yes and I know about the taxes etc. etc.

Bono was checked for throat cancer in 2019 but passed ok.

The fact he went for a check-up on it suggests it's troublesome.

"As opposed to Ireland getting elbowed out of the way"

Says the man who elbows the Irish Revenue out of his money.
