ill have you know that shirt is ironed to within an inch of its life :eek:

but its not one of the ones that has a slightly bigger cuff on the watch side so its getting crumpled behind the dsotm :rolleyes::D

Re the Stowa fleiger... keep eye out for their used and checked sale..
I picked up one half price during the summer and I passed on here at cost..watch was brand new..great value

Makes two of us. With the cuffs open I can't roll up the sleeves on one of my Levi's shirts, my forearms are too thick:o.

Loving the DSOTM and that strap is just class, Omega is my absolute favourite brand.

And I like this thread as it's simply an escape from the madness of a LOT of the other threads, seems sedate in here, it may as well have some light classical music in the background and people shushing anyone making loud noises.

Am sure I posted this before. I never realise how dirty my watches are till I take a pic of them.

Anyway, all cleaned up now.

Also, was able to leave the left cuff of the jacket looser than than the right one:o:)

Good price cos I already fitted the Omega clasp meaning I had to put a put a hole into it.

As someone who's not really a fan of gold watches, the aesthetic is a challenge from there for me. The dial is a bit busy for my taste

Although I think Stockholm Syndrome might be setting in as I don't mind it nearly as much as I did when. Really don't like the flat end link of the bracelet so will likely throw more money at it get a one with curved end links.

It was a strange impulse purchase to be honest.

Don't get your hopes up too high. I've been checking in on their used watches page every couple of days since the summer sale and there hasn't been a thing added since.

Being checking regularly myself. Still gutted I missed out on a B Uhr. Their current advent sale is demo/exhibition watches but the discounts aren't as high and a lot of the models so far have had upgraded movements/hands so weren't much cheaper than the standard version. Still holding out hope a good offer will come up.

In hind-site I possibly should have bought Micks when he offered it. I still do like the A dial version a lot and I might have been able to trade/swap it for a B dial at some point in the future.

1968 king seiko with a 4502 hand wound movement. Oldest watch in the collection.

Has had a movement and case service and a NOS crystal put in about 2 years back. Only giveaway of its age is the dial lacquer discolouration. 36,000bhp movement - one of the 6 digit serials from the chronometer production line. 7 day average is -1s/day. Not bad for a 52 year old watch! On a nomos shell cordovan strap.
