    Bad tackle that by Berg

They'll be getting the rulers out in Liverpool measuring the VAR lines again.

The only thing I'll say is it looked so close that I'm surprised the check was over that quick. We've had offsides in the league that looked onside be reviewed for 3-4 minutes so it was a strange one.

I'd rather the benefit is given to the attacker though.

If VAR was a person it would have to be under 24 hour care.

Jose copying Ranieri's play book the season he won the league with Leicester 9 defensive players and catching teams on the break with Mahrez/Son & Vardy/Kane.

It worked for Claudio and it may work for Mourinho

Spurs getting a hold in the match towards the end of the half.

Were they, Liverpool had 96% of possession there for 5 minutes before halftime.

Really came into their own.. You feel they have another gear, very enjoyable as a neutral.

Terrific game so far. You'd think if Thiago was fit he'd be creating a lot more chances with this amount of possession and Jota would have done better with both of Firmino's chances if available and you don't concede that goal with Virgil instead of Rhys but the team is the team and we're playing well considering.

Mourinho parked the bus very well, goal on counter. Textbook strategy and when you've got someone like Son it'll work out for you. Phenomenal player. He'd be incredible in Liverpool's team.

Well considering the zoomed in rulers with multiple lines we have seen by VAR to rule out a few Liverpool goals this season like Henderson v Everton & Salah v Brighton, it's quite surprising to not see them again tonight.

Liverpool seem to be huffing and puffing. Spurs more decisive. Should be winning I reckon. Klopp will be happy with the draw at half time

If you're talking about ratio of chances created to goals, Spurs are more decisive.

Not sure how you watch that and think anyone would be happy with the draw at half time unless on a wind up or not actually paying attention and pissing around online with it on in the background. Liverpool clearly on top. Draw would still be a good result and Spurs can still win against a makeshift defence, but Liverpool easily on top so far no matter how you measure it.

Don’t take the bait - he already admitted what he’s up to earlier.

Better in possession from Spurs now - to be expected after how woeful they were on the ball in the first half. Jose was bound to lay into them at halftime and make sure they started finding passes.

Its not a grand plan. I'm trying to recreate the fun in real life where you rip the piss and have a laugh. Surely everyone can appreciate that

Just noticed there are fans in Anfield. When did Liverpool come out of Tier 3?

It's finely balanced at this stage. As it goes on it'll become more cagey.

All 3 results equally as likey from here

Interesting, an attacking move from Jose. Wonder will they try to keep hold of the ball a bit better in the wider areas now, and get it away from the centre.

oof, very lucky for Aurier there after Mane turned him - really not much of a foul in there.

Amazing how it's never a "PUSH!! (with added shovey motion)" when Mane is the one being bundled over.

Wow. Liverpool barely hang in there.

Christ, another counter down Williams channel - a proper CB there is such a huge loss.

And Kane somehow totally fluffs the resulting corner!

And Kane misses a header from 6yards as he sees it late.
