    Riddled.

I hate that word in any context because it makes me think of riddled with worms but it has been used far too often re Covid in casual conversation.
Eg - That village/town/area/county is riddled with it. Blech :(

"cohort" especially used in association with "AntiVaxer" or Anti anything but that which is being sold/subscribed with dogmatic vigour buy some in the know who offer to do your thinking for you...but couldn't find the soft side of a sandwhich if it was being fed to them any other day.

    "Certain-twitchers", "Letterbox-peepers"

Used to describe anyone who attitude to the virus isn't to scream for everything to be reset as it was to January 2020, and don't have a deep burning contempt for Nphet, Leo et al.

    Seems reasonable to me

Haven't a clue, the thread is looking for examples of words you hate that are associated with Covid-19 and I gave my example.

I was asking about your misunderstanding of term wet pub, and why you think it's an attempt to link Irish pubs to wet markets in China. Why say it if you haven't a clue what you meant by it?

What he was saying is not my point. It's what he has subsequently went on to say after this regarding face masks

    Feck sake.
Most people on here are cheating. The question is What "word"? Not words.
    So my word is ................ in-this-together :)
Say it really fast and it's like one word.

If you’re taking exception to factual information like above, then I wonder what’s your stance on fake news?

The frequent call to list the words or phrases related to Covid 19 that you dislike is what irks me the most, and I’m annoyed that I’ve been given the opportunity to express this.

    'Long'.
It's a viral infection, many do cause a prolonged recovery. Apparently though this was an unknown phenomenon before Covid.

What do 'wet pubs' and 'circuit breakers' mean?
Genuinely never heard either before, even on the internet

"unprecedented" drives my manager up the wall. He mentions that in every meeting and then uses it himself. "I hate to the word uprecedented, but this really is...":D

    These challenging/unprecedented times

    “Now more than ever”

I hate that ‘new normal’ phrase... usually thrown out their by the arrogant twatsville inhabitants who liked to shout down from minute one that there wouldn’t ever be a vaccine and that this is the ‘new normal’... of course these experts had a deep well of experience and time to think, while reading the fûcking Star on the bus.... they’ll be gutted when there is a vaccine and distancing and restrictions are over...
