Is it a good round though ? I was reading it is a 6.5 swede in a short case ? Same ballistics. I was thinking of buying another .308 after christmas, but if the creedmoor ammo was available and not silly money, i could go for one.

I'll have to disagree here 6.5 creedmoor is not going anywhere anytime soon it's here to stay like the .243
And that's coming from the owner of a 6.5x55 honestly thinking of rechambering to the creedmoor once my barrel is done , ammo is cheaper and running higher pressures thus more speed
