So Bojo will be getting it?
    Yeah probably.

There's less known about immunity from direct infection than there is from the vaccine. So in the interests of covering all bases, they will vaccinate everyone regardless.

Myself and my wife should be early enough getting the vaccine due to underlying conditions. Last August was supposed to be 10 days in Switzerland and 17 in Boston with the majority of that on Martha's vineyard. Hopefully we'll be in a position to do that this year.

You'll be in the seventh category at best. Just ahead of those in crowded conditions or High risk environments, like meat plant workers.

    You want double immunity.

You reckon a vaccine will provide immunity?

I believe it's a text with a negative or a phone call with a positive.

    10,310 tests, 224 positive. 2.17%. 7-day stays at 2.50% (actually down .02%)

Hopefully you’ll be vaccinated and ready for your travels for the summer :) sounds lovely.

On first look I probably fall into category 10, my employer however will probably be lobbying to include the sector in category 6

I’d say mine will too. Along with half the companies in the country!

I'd imagine that sector will be emergency services, TD's, Senators and senior civil servants.

Deary me. Governor of South Dakota defends her state's covid response 'lower deaths than New York!'. ****ing hell. Republicans deny COVID is even real until so many have died that they resort to claiming kudos based on the fact the death rate is lower than an epicentre with the worst death rate on earth.

Sout Dakota deaths 1110 in a state with a population of 884k - still at an average of 25 deaths per day mind you.

It'll all come down to available supplies. Even category 6 will do well to be vaccinated by March/April.

"Providing services essential to the vaccination programme" would seen to be a small enough category considering frontline healthcare will already be covered.

    "Ethical Principles

Upholds principle of minimising harm by protecting the continuing functioning of essential services. The principle of reciprocity is upheld."

The pharma and Med device sectors will be lobbying intensely around this clause

No mention of family carers of people in vulnerable categories on today’s list either.

    7. People aged 18-64 with certain medical conditions...

Is there a list of these conditions anywhere ? I can’t seem to find via google.

Probably category 10. Once their charges are vaccinated that risk goes.

I'd imagine they'll be lobbying for category 4. Seems a closer fit than 6

They would not be healthcare workers if they don't work within the health care system.

What of people who are in contact or live with elderly relatives, especially those with medical conditions .
