Because they had 4 years to show their honesty and most chose not to.

Anyone exhibiting drastically different behaviour now is trying to change the way in which their own behaviour will have been viewed throughout this period.

It will continue. Once Trump finally leaves, the only ones left singing his praises will be his die hard conservative fans and his very close family members. Expect many more, even the likes of Mike Pence or Nikki Halley to say that they were only respecting the office and trying to be guide him towards the right choices when they try to continue their careers with an eye on the White House at a later date.

They won't be dissing him ever, not when 74m people voted for him. Esp. before he dies as he is as vindictive as fúck.

How this nonsense will impact the January elections will be noteworthy.

Already, those in the firing line are worrying that Trump's behaviour will affect their chances

Ideally, this will result in a huge spat between the republicans allegedly quoted and Trump, and it will be akin to two F1 drivers from the same team taking each other out on track

There's already an effort in Georgia among Trump extremists to organise an Vote Abstention effort based on the spurious idea that the elections are corrupt so they shouldn't' participate.

Given the razor-thin margins that there were in both the Senatorial votes any measurable numbers from this could swing the seats

A bit rich from Loeffler, considering that she is/(pretends to be) a Qanon supporting loon.

Governor of Georgia has certified the Electors. I see Stacey Abrams is one of Biden's Electors. Congrats to Joe Biden for winning Georgia......again.

Mad, though from Trump's point of view if the dems have control of everything it would be easier for him to be reelected in four years time.

Trump lost another case which he'd originally won, on appeal. He's now 1-35 in post election cases. So much #winning

Here's how Trump supporters see it -

Trump is now 1-35 in post-election cases.

They got clarity on the distance the poll watchers should be from the counters as it wasn't defined before, the answer was 6 feet away.

They haven't spoken out. That's the point. Publically they back Trump because he's a Republican president, and refuse to tell him to stand aside.

Privately, they despise the man. But refuse to speak against him.

    That's why they're cowards.

In fairness at least one of them, Ben Sasse, has spoken out frequently and in unambiguous terms, ever since the election was called for Biden. So I’m not sure why he was included in that list.

“When Trump campaign lawyers have stood before courts under oath, they have repeatedly refused to actually allege grand fraud," Sasse said, "because there are legal consequences for lying to judges. Wild press conferences erode public trust," the Nebraska Republican senator said. So, no, obviously, Rudy and his buddies should not pressure electors to ignore their certification obligations under the statute. We are a nation of laws, not tweets."

“Sasse acknowledged Biden's victory in the presidential election. He issued a statement congratulating Biden on the day after election results declared him the winner.”

I'm Donald Trump and I refuse to concede because, eh, because f*** you, that's why!

At least if he said the above it would be honest.

I heard that one of the Republicans had said he would certify the results once they all tallied as that is all their job entails.
The other Republican abstained from the vote (the F*cking weasel) so it was a 3-0 vote

The next logical step in the Trump playbook is to get on the phone to Mette Frederiksen and ask if she wants to swap Greenland for the flipped states.

... Which I don't think is technically an option available to him. I think he *might* be in dereliction of duty, and potentially in line for legal consequences for it?

Has someone taken Trump's phone away? No twitter melt down as of yet. Or has his caps lock broken? IT'S NOT EFFECTIVE TWEETING IF YOU CAN'T SHOUT IT!

Can we hope that maybe finally, FINALLY, someone at the White House has taken the phone off him? If there is any prime example of the fact that toddlers should not have access to smartphones, it's Donald Trump's Twitter account.
