    Putting up a structure like that is a health and safety nightmare, and taking it back down is even worse. the 12 hours it would be actually up would require another 12 hours of construction/de-construction and paperwork alone

    You bought the apartment beside a busy 24 hour railway station = Massive price reduction

    You can't be surprised when it turns out the apartment might actually turn out to have been the huge bargain you thought you got.

    If you live beside a railway, an industrial area, an airport etc you must expect noise. If you can't cope but far away from these sites.
