Well if local companies are looking to survive/compete, surely they should have some sort of flexibility? Especially for unopened, hadn't even left the shop products.

Obviously I'm asking too much though. Richersounds and Amazon for me in future.

If the company who sold it to you arrived at your door 10 days later saying they changed there mind and wanted the product back what would you tell them?

I have Amazon Prime and buy a lot off Amazon. If I have to buy off Amazon DE, FR etc instead of Amazon UK I won't be buying as much due to the minimum €7 delivery charges.

But you won’t have to worry about customs charges though.

I know but it won't be economical to buy cheap items by themselves, as I frequently do.

I reckon Amazon will figure something out though as I can't see everyone who uses amazon.co.uk switching to the other EU sites, particularly prime members.

I didn't have to drive up north, I'm in Cork and they sent someone out to assess the tv and then someone else with the new tv.

I'm sure the 6 year guarantee is automatic

Hi Del How Old Was the TV at that stage?

It comes automatically on items that are offered with it.

I bought a Sony TV from them back in January and had issues with it during the first lockdown. They still had someone come and collect it for repair. I don't see anywhere in the terms and conditions of their warranty that you have to drive back to them with it after a certain time. The warranty is the same for all 6 years.

yes i was talking to them and im led to believe about the TV has to be over 40 inch for them to collect any smaller tv you dont get same perks ?

    Auto-iQ

They just have to make everything "smart "now whether it's needed or not

It is not “smart”, it’s just got 4 settings for different results programmed in and you can use manual settings too if you wish

It's not anything at the moment. It was out of stock very quickly after you posted.

Can't say I would use one myself but the young'uns might like these Polaroid style camera/printers.

Not a bad price at £45.

Canon Zoemini C Instant Camera Printer - Seaside Blue

Great price but be careful anyone who gets one, the film and prints can be expensive

Echo Show 5 down to £39.99 when ordered through Alexa.

Do you think these might be cheaper when bundled with a Ring Doorbell around Black Friday time, or should I pull the trigger now and get the Ring separately?

Just in relation to Yankee and Amazon - I picked up some Yankee stuff from Amazon for Xmas this year, out of handiness, and thinking the prices were great.

Afterwards, wandering around the local shops, I seen the same things at lower or the same prices.

For example, 4 votives for £8. My local Dealz had exactly the same style packaging (legit Yankee brand) with 6 Votives in it, for €6, and Homestore+More have a 5 pack for €7.

Amazon have a 12 pack for £20, and Homestore have the same 12 pack for €18.

There are other examples, but you get the idea. Always worth taking a look around. The dealz 6 Votives for €6 was a great deal. Raging I already bought my stuff by then, and had literally no one else to buy for that would want them.

HS+M also have a decent looking 'clean cotton' gift set. Bit of a plain scent, and it's showing up as out of stock, but could be worth keeping an eye on incase it returns, as it's a decent price. https://www.homestoreandmore.ie/candle-jars/yankee-clean-cotton-fragrance-gift-set/107849.html

Yes, hold off till the 20th , saw something on a Google search where usa amazon alexa offers are kicking in on that day, I would presume the same will apply to amazon uk.
