In 1967 you would be lucky to be able to talk to your family once a month over the phone.

Negotiating tiny Cornwall airport is actually a nightmare, believe it or not. I have a story O won't elaborate on but suffice it to say my mother said never to bring her through it again because of the staff (who are not at all typical of the
    Locals)

Have to say, opposite for me, few friends in UK and Europe that would usually come back and we'd all meet up. None of them are bothering this year, too much hassle with flight cancellations, restricting movements either side etc.

Don’t ask that question of Boris, he’s not entirely certain how many he has, let alone where they all are

Just go home...book the flight or whatever and go.
People need to travel at some stage simple as that.

I have kept to the regs all along. I will be going to see my family in northern ireland at Xmas.

My folks have headed back to Lanzarote for the next 4 months I don't blame them I would do same if not working or retired.
