Hopefully that's the end of the Christmas street traders. So cheap, dodgy and they clog up the street. I don't know how the rate paying shops put up with it.

If they have some covenant or something, move them around the corner to the square at the back of the Church pub, but not this year.

When he was in Newry, did he see any of those traders getting their stock to smuggle bring over the border?

Have to say, opposite for me, few friends in UK and Europe that would usually come back and we'd all meet up. None of them are bothering this year, too much hassle with flight cancellations, restricting movements either side etc.

Folk I know oversees are mostly medical workers etc, rarely get off for Christmas anyway, a life they chose. Many folk in essential services, electricity supply etc, work over Christmas.

"I was watching Reeling In The Years from 1967".

i.e. My advisor told me to make a correlation with 1967 to justify what I'm saying.

They have friends who live out there and own pubs etc.
It is really quiet seemingly, but low numbers wise and I think a total of about 9 deaths on whole island.

My dad can play golf, they can go for walks, they can eat out (half of places still open) need to wear masks in public if near people.

They are bringing in something seemingly where you have to present a clear covid test very soon.

If they want to come back to ireland, you can get a test their for 30 euro.

    I would love some sunshine!
