Weird to see a car where the passenger seat has more wear!

I'm flogging that for my sister in law.

It's a good honest car, the kind that has always just been dropped to the garage yearly to do what was needed, no questions asked. 3 of the owners are the same family, and I know one of the other previous owners too.

It's taxed, NCT'd and has more than half a tank of juice too.

Fiesta is poverty spec and seen a bit of thrashing but probably a decent enough little car if it drives ok, if the clutch isn't hanging, what much wlse could go wrong. You wont get many 2011 diesel yokes in this thread with 2 years test for €1500.

KE reg with all the ambulance gear in the background though, hardly a training vehicle of some kind for the national ambulance? That might be a different story.

Would there be any insurance implications having that dual control gear fitted?

    Fairly substantial modification.

I’d say it’s just mapped, nice bit of test on it if it makes it to then :)

    Yes

I know they could be removed. Just wondering if running with them would be an insurance issue.

It's not necessarily an engine swap. The 2l Diesel engine in the mk4 Mondeo and Mk2 Focus was designed and built by Peugeot. It's considered a far better engine than Ford's own oil burners of that era, (like the 1.8l with the wet belt the costs $$$ to change). That's probably the message the seller is trying to get across.

Same engine as the Volvo S40 and Peugeat Expert very good engine

you would have to declare them as a modification. An insurance company would be very curious as to why you want to keep them.

    I was thinking that myself.

Just imagine what might happen if you were giving someone a lift home after they had a few pints and they applied the brakes putting you into a skid.

You crash into another car causing thousands of euro damage. The assessor comes out and finds the dual control. Won't end well.

This looks nice, 2.0T (210 bhp?) 9-3 estate with low miles and NCT til May 2021, €1999

Slightly longer NCT would be ideal at this money but hardly a deal breaker if you're in the market for one of these

Does the panel behind the back passenger door seem to be a different colour in photo 10 of is it just my eyes?

Yeah, doesn't look great. Would need a closer look but it could just be the reflection of the building behind the cameraman that distorts the picture?

I think someone from here bought a Saab from the same dealer in the past.

Nice looking A4 TDI with NCT til June 2021, €500

Looks very clean, and has had the same owner since less than a year old. This is something that would last you years with very little hassle

    Is it high tax?

I suppose the lad selling it would have to get €1k for it and it is a smart looking yoke but it's absolutely saleproof as a result of the tax IMO. Reg is hidden so i'd say it's Covid NCT on it too and the disc expires 12-20. No tax, few issues.

Hard call because it's nice, but worthless.
