All joking aside, people on here claiming Biden has stolen the election from Trump are on the wind up, yeah?

It will be VERY hard for the 2 senate seats to go blue. If Trump keeps this up though it might give democrats a stick to beat them with as the republican running mates will have to give their views on Trump and his current carry on.

One race was very close and in the other the dem candidate was 12 points ahead. all to play for

Prediction: if Biden’s lead becomes unassailable, Trump will concede, claiming he’s doing it for the good of the nation, but still doesn’t accept the result. Behind the scenes, I expect Melania is having a few choice words with Hubby Dearest.

From out there on the moon, international politics look so petty. You want to grab a politician by the scruff of the neck and drag him a quarter of a million miles out and say, ‘Look at that, you son of a bitch’.

Do RTE staff have all their pension pots in Raytheon shares? They are loving Biden being ahead.

perhaps they just reflect public sentiment.

You can sort of question the sources though.

I mean, for all the singing about blasting fools and smoking joints bigger than a fat girls booty, Ice-T and Snoop Dogg are probably the life/political advise equivalent of Lady Gaga or Angelina Jolie.

Id hate to see someone dismiss a Christina Aguilera tweet as airhead nonsense, only to then carefully listen to some guys who rhyme words about slapping hoes in da hood.

There has to be a limit to who or what is said on their airways.

The media wouldn't give a far right nutcase a platform for example to insult minorities.

Equally they shouldn't give the likes of Trump a platform to insult election workers who work damn hard for nothing or the American democratic process.

Its right he should be cut off.

They did everyone a favour. I watched it live on the White House site and I had to give up about halfway in, it was literally nonsense.

your faith in him to do the right thing far exceeds mine.

Or else a Trump called a Murdoch and said that if they name Biden President elect, then they will set up Trump TV and destroy Fox news

I'd imagine it would be as successful as his airline, university, casinos, his many drinks companies, his travel company, his mortgage company.

With the race being so tight in Georgia, I was concerned that the 12,000 overseas and military votes might favour Trump, as the military voted for him two to one in 2016. But then I found this:

"But a Military Times survey conducted this August indicated former Vice President Joe Biden had 41.3 percent support from active-duty troops to Trump’s 37.4 percent. Third-party candidates came to just 12.8 percent — altogether, quite a shift from the 2016 poll."

Not arguing. Just pointing out that being named after a tinned drink and rapping about being a woman beater doesn't ... or rather shouldn't give an opinion extra merit.

The Democrats really need to put together a 2024 campaign starting now and really get their act together.

And they need to stop making the mistake of calling it Trumpism, that isn't what gave him power and that isn't the phenomenon believe it or not. But I am positive about this being the point where they are forced to analyse things properly once things settle down. The likes of Van Jones appear to get it but he may be taken up by partisanship and political dog-fights soon enough to forget it.

reading about the dems congress call there, deep divisions in the party between the moderates and the left.

there really is a huge opportunity for a centrist party formed from moderates from both sides and leave the extremists take the dems and GOP. if done properly with enough money they could really shake things up.

I thought he was gunna hang up in a huff at one point. Shocking. He has stopped being a Republican voice and instead became a Trump voice. He may be booked for next week but wouldnt be suprised if he was retired.

Before trump was nominated he said he was no way representative of the republican party and his values, and there was no way he was going to be nominated.
He's spent every day since trump has been nominated defending him and been a poster boy for whataboutery.

We all know he's what you say (do you have to be so crass?) but this is still not an excuse to act like they are. They are news networks and should be remaining balanced and fair. Carrying on like that just adds fuel to the fire and now of all times they have an obligation to lower the temperature. Let Trump make a fool of himself and then discuss it after with calm facts.

He's using the office of president to undermine the election. He's also breaking the law by using the white house to do so since it's not supposed to be a campaign hq.... Poor mite, getting cut off.

Yes, this election proved that Americans strongly agree with Trump’s policies. If he wasn’t such a poor character he likely would have won very easily. To be honest, without Covid he would have won. If the republicans could find a Trump that doesn’t use Twitter they are sorted.

    Are you for real...

Yes, I am. Biden has complained about Trump's trade war with China in the past, but has hardened his stance against China in the last year. He called for the U.S. to “get tough on China” in particular against their theft of intellectual property.
