Arteta got his tactics spot on.

Ole hadn't even tactics so you can't say if they went well or poorly. Like Chelsea last week I'd love to know what the plan was today, get a penalty, score from a set piece or a deflection.
Lazy tackle by Pogba on Bellerin, did much the same thing vs Spurs a few weeks ago except they weren't out of the game.

One thing I will say about the league so far this season, you couldn't have picked a worse time to try start charging for individual games based on the quality of entertainment on show.

Arsenal weren't that great either. Two teams that won't get into the top 4 this season but Arsenal will finish above us.

Always said this season should be cancelled. Miss fans too on days like this.

Oh sh1t. It's Liverpool V City next week.

    That's gonna be a goodun

Liverpool will be quite happy with a draw and go in to the International break on top and with difficult away games against Chelsea, Everton & Man City all behind them in the first 8 games. A Liverpool win would be huge.

Hasn't there been more goals than ever? And with lockdowns people are bored. I wouldn't but a lot of people would. Pure greed by the premier league

    Big win for Arsenal.

Utd bottom 6. Will the CL beat enough to save Ole? Not so sure it will. He'll be gone by end of the month imo.

Great timing for Pochetino to be on Sky Sports tomorrow night.

Haven't seen Keane this angry before. United players might need a police escort out of there.

Who's the 14 year old competition winner who's co-commentating on Premier Sport?

Keane and Neville still afraid to really criticise Ole. Bizarre.

Roy talking sh!te on Sky about a manager not needing to motivate players to play. As if Fergie giving the hairdryer treatment to his teammates didn't help at all. He knows himself that Ole roaring at his players would be laughed at behind his back by the players rather than getting them to cop on to themselves. Cahill rightly pulled him up on it.

That’s a ridiculous penalty decision in Spurs game. Outside and Kane made no attempt to get the ball.

Roy probably not the best person for manager best practices tbf.

Nice one var a definite foul on the box and a definite peno. Super Kane buries it

Yep. Ref only gave it when he realised it was Kane, who was being clever according to the commentary.

Kane looked at him twice, ran under him as he jumped. bizarre decision, have seen them given the other way.

No the ref gave it because it was on the line of the box, which makes it a pen, and because Lallana treated Kane's back like it was an Alton Towers ride.

Lallana goes straight up for a header, Kane has no intention of playing the ball and just undercuts Lallana.

Is right, Kane obstructed Lallana. Kane had no intention of going for the ball, had a look at Lallana and stepped in between him and the ball.

That would be 37 year old former Irish international Stephen Kelly.

Stephen Kelly is a poor commentator.

Seems more suited to radio than TV.

Trys to describe stuff too much or something.

free out could easily have been given there

Lallana tries to go for a jaunt atop the chap's shoulders which isn't allowed. VAR with the correct decision.

That's a blatant penalty. If he doesn't drag Trossard back there he has a free shot on goal.

Keane was in full rant and deflection mood. Saying that it's not the managers job to motivate the players. He was also making smart comments about Arteta and shouting over Cahill about Arsenal losing to Leicester as if it had any relevance with why United are so poor and have a terrible home record this season. Deflection tactics to keep the attention away from his mate.

It's a weird day when Jamie Redknapp is speaking a lot more sense than the other pundits on TV. You can't be putting out excuses like no fans in the stadium or spending more money or throw money at this area or need to buy more players etc.

I said before the game that I could see United struggling to create and they did. When teams sit back a bit against them, they find it difficult to break then down and are not potent enough unless there is big open spaces for the forwards to run into. 4 games this season for Man United at OT, no wins. 2 goals scored - one from open play and one penalty. When teams show the attacking intent against United and leave gaps behind them, the space for Greenwood, Rashford etc to sprint into is there and goals are possible.

Arteta and Arsenal deserve all the plaudits. Had a clear plan and executed it. They actually showed more intent than I thought they would but deserved their win.

Yep. A long ball hoofed up the pitch and a forward backing into the defender without making an effort for the ball after looking to see where he was is a free out every time.

    Trossard's much more a penalty than kane's

He absolutely doesn't though? Lallana is clearly just going for a header, Kane leads with his arse into Lallana who's already well in the air before any contact between the two of them.

    Never a penalty.
