Harry Kane: a goalscorer, more assists than any player, made a heroic block against West Ham last week, goalline clearance tonight. Best player in the league right now.

Bamford does the goalline clearance stuff regularly. In one game last year he cleared off the line, sprinted the length of the pitch, and was on the end of a 4 or 5 pass move to score

Obviously not comparing ability, Kane is a much better player. He is perhaps the best English striker since Shearer. It's just good to see strikers with a great work ethic.

Son is still so underrated. Said it before I'm amazed a Bayern or Big 2 in Spain never seem be in for him. Quality

Still unsure what to make of Spurs. League is very tight i know but for a bizarre 10 minute meltdown I think they'd be top? Yet, after watching last night I cant help but feel they're being carried by 2 exceptional players. Son and Kane have been the standouts in the league this season quite comfortably and I feel that is papering over cracks. Kane has 13 goal involvements in 6 games.
To my eyes they are still carrying a few bodies who are not top 4 quality nevermind league winners. Ben Davies is very average. Don't understand not playing Reguillon. Eric Dier is not a CB but Sanchez is worse. Doherty and Aurier not top level either. Hojbjerg is solid if unspectacular and Sissoko inconsistent. The two lads up front and their support cast have the potential to be the best in the league. If Bale finds form, having Kane, Son, Bale, Bergwijn, Moura, GLC, Ndombele and Vincinius is a serious set of players.

We wait and see. For now Son and Kane are doing plenty

I think more people believed Leicester would win the league than Spurs will though. :pac:

Been saying for over two years he would have been absolutely perfect in rotation with Mane & Salah ,

Perfect example of what your modern winger can be big , strong, quick and most importantly seems to give his absolute everything

Bodyguards hired to protect Jordan Pickford and his family after Everton goalkeeper receives death threats for injuring Virgil van Dijk during Merseyside derby draw with Liverpool

Will always be a minority of club 'fans' ruining it for everyone else.

    '' Ring of Steel"

    Fire that person

I'd nearly be tempted to have a go myself now they've almost advertised it as a challenge!

Are threats via tweet investigated with anything like the same rigor as threats via letter etc? We always hear about them, but rarely hear any follow up, despite the fact they should be exceptionally easy to trace.

Always feels like it’s disregarded as ‘internet trolls’, but maybe if they were followed up on more, it wouldn’t be so common...

Isn’t there someone in front of the Irish courts for messages sent to Ian Wright on social media?

Didn't some Liverpool fan make a promise to virgil that he was going to get pickford? And posted a pic of him standing with virgil. Desperate for attention

Not the first goalkeeper to get death threats from part of the LFC fanbase tbf.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 61,272 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

He should ring Ed Woodward and ask him what security company he uses to protect his family.

The security companies in the North West of England must make a fortune from footballers to be fair.

Though saying that they don't do a good job protecting the players houses from being broken into when they are at away games.

Mod: cut out the United/Liverpool pettiness please, the situation around the death threats can be discussed without needless digs at the opposition

John Lundstram not renewing his contract with Sheffield United

would be a good signing for any of the bottom half clubs
