A song with a horrible hook, it's so annoying it almost ruins the song. But annoying hook aside, it's a good track. Like the vocals and it has a very enjoyable beat. The chorus is very good and overall it's a good track but it could have been better if they had binned the annoying soundbite.

Smooth sound, nice vocals, poo poo hook.

This may get me a lot of hate, but I never really liked Bowie. I like some of his tracks sure, but he never really appealed to me.

But I like this one, and it was a track that benefited from repeatedly listens, as I wasn't too keen at first.

It is an easy listen and it has got me nodding in sync with the melody. The lyrics are zany for sure "She's so swishy in her satin and tatt,
In her frock coat and bipperty-bopperty hat". Like it. Overall its a nicely paced track thats hard not to bop to.

Have I listened to this artist before? yes
Have I listened to this song before? No

Ah the lads from voodoo Lady fame. My first listen didn't do anything for me, but on repeated listens it grew on me. Whether it is my love of animals, but I gave the poor pony a chance and I grew to enjoy it for what it is. Its a simple song, the lyrics are cute if not a little sad, its not a bad track overall.

Repeated listens make me feel even more sympathetic to the pony…. Damn my heart strings. NO BJ, Be strong.

Ultimately Its a nice track, nothing to help it jump places in this round though.

A classic track, one I hadn’t heard of in a long while. An iconic, catchy chorus truly makes the song and wrapped around the chorus is a nice vocal harmony with cool lyrics. It sticks in your head and doesn't get old. Great choice.

Not a big fan of Ellie, not because i dislike her voice but I always find I just don’t think the songs I've heard truly work with her voice. This is a decent track, very easy to listen to and I can appreciate it. However, it didn't blow me away either.

Nothing to hate, yet nothing to wow me either.

Another Seal cover! (Ok seal covered it too, whatevers).

A different take on the Steve Miller Band original and a welcome one. The sound reminds me of the Terminator Theme, and the vocals have a much more serious and menacing feel, which I quite enjoy. Could easily hear this song on the trailer to a big summer blockbuster (remember the cinema...sad face).

It’s a song I was eager to revisit and a very satisfying cover. Good choice. Almost placed higher only for the 4 above were too good to ignore.

This is a very typical Missy E track, its fine lyrically and flows very easy, but the hook is too annoying for liking. Repeatedly hearing the hook does nothing for me, esp with repeated listens. It could've done with some change up. It's not bad per say, but it doesn't wow me like other Missy beats.

A song I am very familiar with.

Fun BJ fact, I hated this song when it was released years ago. The slow intro plodded along for a young BJ and I hated hearing it. But as time grew I always found myself singing it and this song became very catchy to me, ultimately winning me over.

Here we are now, haven't listened to it in years and I do enjoy it more as my musical pallet evolved. I like the intro riff, slow and choppy in a good way and Albarns voice is one I really do enjoy. As it kicks in fully, its hard to dislike it now as I once did. Good choice.

This song feels like a song that should be kicking off a Paw Patrol type show. Its obviously aimed at the younger market, so its appropriate for its target audience and its well suited to a kids movie, but as a stand alone track its not for me.

Would you believe I never listened to this song before this game? Like ever.

My friend, 20 years ago, was trying to get me to listen to this back in my 15 year old days and I dismissed it as “I never heard of them”. So as I grew old I heard of the band more but never checked them out, but I was always aware they had an iconic song.

So I check it out…. Is it all its cracked up to be. Short answer :yes.

Its a great intro and I now know where Otto from the Simpsons is singing from. It brings you on a lovely slow build then smashes into a high tiempo like chase, with visions of me on the run from the law in a pick up truck. A great track, Thank you Shane.

Hard to enjoy this song after years of hearing it. It is a real novelty track at this stage. But while this song gets nowhere near my playlists, it does make me smile, mainly as it reminds me of Ace Ventura or “Oh Edna K” from The Simpsons. .

Its fine for what it is, but won't place to high, but I certainly don't hate it. Had I never heard it before it might have fared better. Soz Liz.

This is a fun song. Nice drum intro and a lovely, easy to listen to melody. On repeated listens it's extremely hard to fault the song and its very catchy. How can I not enjoy a track with the line “Stop!, said the puppy, when I met him at the zebra crossing”. Really like this one.

What helped it alot is that my in-laws are getting a new puppy and I cant wait. So this track made me smile every time I heard it. It stick sin my head and gives me the good feels each time.

Did it sway my placing, probably. But I cant help that i just cant get enough of it and it makes me happy. A well timed entry.

A wonderful example of how wonderful Sinead is as a vocalist. A lovely story, beautifully executed by her unique voice. Its mellow and enchanting. Good choice.

A wonderful example of how wonderful Sinead is as a vocalist, her voice is just amazing. . Admittedly I've never delved deep into her work, but I have always enjoyed her distinctive voice when Ive come across her tracks.

A lovely story, beautifully executed by her unique voice. Its mellow and enchanting and repeated listens just blow me away. Each verse is simplistic, esp the 2nd, yet it is so beautifully delivered that you keep wanting more. The chorus is catchy and Sineads voice is just a dream to listen to. The guitar riffs are not flash, but they don't need to be as Sinead carries this song without much help. An amazing choice and one deserving of top spot.

Check this out and enjoy. I know I did.

    Thanks Gru.
