    Being paid for your labour.

And me being paid for labour would invalidate my opinion on this matter why?

But hospitals are not filling up. I also said that they could have intensified level 3. The cost of going to level 5 doesn't seem to register too well with those who are not badly affected.

So someone who agree's with going to level 5 is only taking that position as it doesn't effect them financially? That's a pretty shallow view to take.

Some here have a theory that those les affected by level five are more likely to want it to continue

So if you work from home etc and are not impacted as much as e.g. retail staff they believe you support level 5

It doesn't invalidate your opinion, but it's much easier to be in favour of more restrictions when it's not your livelihood that's being affected. Just because we are now in level 5 doesn't mean that we should stay in it if there is evidence that level 3 and a bit is working. There are people's livelihoods and well-being thats are being damaged every moment that we are in level 5.

I'm very clear that is not what I said.

Ok so what about the 10s of thousands of jobs impacted by level 3? Do they not matter because you can earn a living in level 3? Im hoping we can reduce this to allow the most people return to work for as long as possible.

I think you might want to think on that post for a moment.

There is no need to make things any worse than they have to be.

It might start tomorrow. They are never on time it's actually very unprofessional but seems to be accepted.

Always late. The earlier it's scheduled, the later it is.

Shouldn’t have been a backlog. Surprised at that number

720 cases announced so that's 185 of a backlog from somewhere

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,624 ✭✭✭forumdedum

    720 cases
    5 deaths

Is it possible that due to collapse of contact tracing these numbers are now lower?

    RIP to those who died.

There seems to be a never ending variance between swabs and daily cases

Over 22,000 new cases and 367 deaths in the UK, the latter highest since May.
