Bizarre seeing these things not checked. Or being checked, and not being explained.

VAR will always be a disaster when you can’t follow what the video ref is actually doing, you should be able to hear the coversation between VAR and the ref.

I've come convinced they're not mic'd up because it'll show how incompetent they really are.

Did the ref in Stockley park even say anything to Atkinson? If not, why?

If he did, did Atkinson dismiss it? If so, why?

Everyone should be told what happened.

    Agreed. It’s complete self protection.
Atkinson might have been slightly blocked by Maguire but you’d have thought given th brig appeals from Werner in particular he’d ask to have whatever they’re looking for checked.

What has Atkinson stopped that for?

Donny didn't look impressed when the camera panned to him.

Pogba, Maguire and Havertz are the guts of 250 themselves.

I've spent the evening ironing shirts for work and watching this game. The ironing has been more exciting.

I thought there'd be a heap a goals in this one.

Two strong attacks, two dodgy defences, and of course that results in a goalless draw. :pac:

Wow. An intervention is properly needed. This is judging what’s right in front of you, no lines needed.

He should throw a transfer request in at Xmas for the craic.

Felt like a game where both coaches were influenced more by a fear they would lose, than a conviction they would win. Chelsea can consider themselves hard done by as they should have had a pen.

Lindelof did well. Pleased for Mendy. Thiago Silva impressive too - he'll be feeling pretty good right now since PSG refused to give him another year on his contract, and they ended up struggling against the very attack he just kept quiet.

Fernandes without any penalties to take really is poor. Nothing player.

Thats the face of a man that's realised he's just cover for Fred

Don’t know what game Le Saux watched. Clearly a case of both sides setting up not to lose the game rather than trying to win.

I wouldn't say a nothing player but his stats are definitely padded.

He's been very good overall since he signed though.
