Chelsea with all the names just cant seem to get going
Theres noreal obvious shape to fit there best plagers in that works

    Frank Lampard.

The guy thinks he’s playing Fifa, not even Championship Manager but FIFA. CM doesn’t let you away with just throwing players into a team.

That was a truly awful game to watch.

Hopefully the 8pm game is better, shouldn't be too hard really.

Fernandes without any penalties to take really is poor. Nothing player.

He's a good player. Real leader. Utd fans are rightly happy with him. The "nothing player" comment is poor.
If you're a Liverpool fan I apologise but poor nonetheless.

Van De Beek must be questioning his choice to come to Old Trafford when sees Ajax putting 13 goals passed Venlo

I don’t watch Sky when Evra is in. Insufferable.

Christ Hasselbaink and Evra are unbearable on Sky. Non-stop bickering about whether the game was boring or not. Why would anybody want to watch this?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 15,111 ✭✭✭✭RasTa

I had Richard Keys rambling about how the game is ruined because of VAR. Dunno why you keep watching when the football is over.

Even as a Chelsea fan I just call him Jimmy Floyd.

Can Bundesliga followers tell me what kind of player Havertz was in Germany? Who could he be compared to and what position did he dominantly play?

    Because he's struggling so far.

    Another horrific decision from VAR

VAR deem that a penalty but not Maguire choking a player down.

I really don't understand football anymore.

Right decision. His foot was on the line that makes it a pen? That's the law isn't it? Touching the line is deemed a pen?

You’re forgetting Fabinho got the ball.

I only turned on when there was a still image of the tackle and it showed his foot on the line.

I thought the VAR call was to check if it was a free/pen not if it was a foul? Which probably explains why they gave pen despite it being possible no foul

Did he not get the ball?

In other news John Egan has clattered Robertson a few times.
He's on his way to a card of some colour soon, I'd say.
    This half won't finish 0-1.

Never a pen, clearly got the ball.
Yet Maguire can hang out of a lads neck, lol.

Good volley there, straight at Allison

    Not John Egan :)
Actually Baldock, and he's had a go at Wijnaldum now.
United are up for this, but need to reign in the fire.

Didn't think it was a peno but the ref let Robertson off with a handball so it's even.

Is this the first time Liverpool have put in Jota with the usual front 3? Looks very unbalanced, no options in midfield to move the ball forward.

When you look at Liverpool's defence without their mega signings (VVD + Alisson) they're pretty ordinary. Klopp hasn't done much to improve the defence only throw a lot of money at the problem.

What money has he thrown at it ? Oh, and Alisson is playing.

What defence is not good without their best players?

Liverpool defence in looking worse when you take out their best keeper and defender shocker

The money he threw at it was breaking world records twice for players in their relative positions. Not saying he's a chequebook manager or anything, but Gomez is sub par, and hasn't progressed as much as some expected him to. There was some in here claiming he was the second best CB in the league. Fabinho is showing he isn't even the second best CB at Liverpool

Getting a 70 million plus signing playing like a 70 million plus signing is an achievement in itself. I can think of one or two sets of fans who wish their managers could do it.
