Onlyfans is disgusting. A manifestation of everything wrong with today's world. Pathethic incels giving money to superficial bimbos.

A match made in heaven it would seem, I can't see the point myself with the proliferation of free porn online but whatever gets the juices flowing I guess

I am more worried about the damage to a whole generation of people and society in general.

Their grandparent's generation were married, mortgage and children in their 20's.

Generations change, there were much bigger families back then and the economic and societal climate was wholly different, maybe stuff like OF is an extreme reaction to the stifling oppression of those times.

The stifling oppression of the happy nuclear family?

A time when many were trapped in miserable, loveless, marriages.

As opposed to now happily masturbating in front of a screen and getting paid to take your clothes off.

    Yes. Exactly.

The only problem I see is when a small fraction of people take it too far. Case in point the whole incel thing. But 99.9% of normal people can be on either side of the camera/screen and go about their life in normal fashion. I wouldn't let the 0.1% dictate how the rest should conduct themselves.

A healthy society can't operate that way.

Some were and some weren't. There were many loveless marriages and woman during that time frankly were sometimes treated like ****.

I will say there was a greater sense of community and resilience and respect in those times, but not everything was picture perfect. Far from it.

What women don't seem to understand is men will hype them up and enjoy what they're doing but woulf never want their mother/sister/girlfriend to do any of that kind of stuff, that should tell women something.

Neither can I tbh except some man somewhere is paying steady exorbitant money in the belief that there’s some sort of relationship between them.
Or that she is only doing stuff for him .
I went on the site because of this thread to see what it is all about ( honestly :) ) and I’m inundated for ads for iConnect web site.

And probably eeking out a hungry existence in some rat infested tenement. Away to fúck with your rose coloured hindsight would you!

Happy families were happy, unhappy ones less so!

It's not materially different from acting or modelling, certainly much closer to those professions than to prostitution. And a damn site safer for the women involved.

Kate Winslett gets €20m to whip her tits out and pretend she's someone else. Kate Murphy gets €20. They are both doing essentially the same thing. Once they're both happy - who's business is it but their own.

It's honestly kind of weird at times how some people that would tend to be more on the progressive side will defend this kind of craic like there's nothing at all questionable about it, and it's all perfectly healthy behaviour and anyone questioning it is some relic from old Catholic Ireland..not just this thread, but you see it a good bit..And it's just weird tbh..

    What's weird about it?

One point I need to address...anyone comparing a page three topless photo being published a couple of times in a newspaper back in the 80's and 90's, to OnlyFans, doesn't perhaps understand how the internet works.

Physical photos/negatives, weren't available to the public at any time, forever.

Having a couple of topless shots come up in an online newspaper archive or articles online - is not the same thing as much more 'intimate' pics videos etc being instantly downloaded and reproduced/shared, all over the internet forever.
The difference is scale, and accessibility.

how many people cut out and kept a page three's model photos from the newspaper?
Ok, now multiply that by millions (potentially) and it's all in HD for anyones pleasure at any time in the future.

Not to mention this can be straight to camera stuff, a very much more immediate type of in your face sexual activity if it's masturbation/toy play etc

I know which I'd rather look back on. Easier to brush off as "Oh it was a laugh, my friends and I got asked in town one day, but didn't i have great tits back then, and wasn't I silly really?!"

As opposed to, "Well grandson mine, that anaconda of a double ended dildo you saw, em, attacking me... well you know it was different in those days, and I really ought to talk to your father about your internet access"

Haha no, not for kids... now if only kids were as good as to know what's for them or not.

Kids find porn (intentionally or accidentally) every single day on the internet. It's not their fault, it's usually the parent/guardian's lack of foresight, and oversight.

The fact that they shouldn't find it? Makes no odds. They will.

You might to clarify which meaning of 'digitally' you intended here.

Well, any amount of problems tbh, their future kids might be exposed to said material, a jilted lover could exploit said material, a future employer could be made aware of said material by someone with a grudge or vendetta, parents or other relatives, could be made aware and be sent same material, the list goes on really.

There's a huge difference between a contractually obligated page 3 Girl or topless model and a relatively naïve young woman trying to make a few bob on the side, I'd imagine most folk can see this.

Yes, there is a difference in scale, but so what?

How about grandma just says; 'well grandson, I used to work as a sex model'. That's what we had to do to survive when we inherited the gig economy from those older folks with the nice jobs, nice houses and nice pensions.

First they came for the socialists...

They don't have to do it though, some might have to, but I'd say they are a minority.

It's their business/body at the end of the day but you can be sure many are being naïve about it and most probably will have any amount of regrets about it (I doubt for most it won't be a career) further down the line. Life really isn't that black and white.

The likelihood it will be found is bigger. Therefore any negative consequences are magnified by scale.

There's a big difference, to me at least, between a few topless photos of you being online via a grainy reprinted page three, and multiple HD videos of you performing graphic sex acts being available of you online.

That's my point. Not about the reasons why someone did it or the morality of same.

The attitude of the person involved is going to vary wildly depending on the person.

A lot of people would regret doing something that leaves stuff like that online forever.

Prostituting oneself digitally is not behaving in a normal fashion.

That is kind of derogatory if I am honest.

Are you differentiating between someone working as a prostitute or someone sex working digitally?

It warrants a bona fide response because there are obvious differences, both ethically and in the substance of this discussion.

I am ignoring the crossover between the two professions for the moment, but I think there are patent connections.

Prostituting oneself digitally is not behaving in a normal fashion.

Selling content on OnlyFans is far less prostituting than actual p0rn material. The models can chose exactly what to post and not get coaxed into doing things they are not comfortable with.

I know of at least two girls in the city I live in that are on OF. It's really not as big a deal as people like to think.

Yeah not a big deal as long as it's not your daughter or sister

Can I ask, and maybe you could ask them... Would they post the stuff they post on OF publicly, on their FB or Instagram?
If not, why not, do you think?

Out of respect to friends or relations who may not appreciate seeing images of them naked.

    Your question is excruciatingly pedantic.

You might tell them then, if they're doing it right, their photos and videos are already circulating online.
Pedantic maybe, but I would call it naive to think that they can think it's going to stay where they want it to.
