Oof. Not good. Its primarily oncology patients in Haematology wards.

If accurate, that's terrible and probably one of the most vulnerable cohorts you could possibly find, not only in the high risk, but the very high risk category.

Because there's a press conference and they are releasing at the start of the press conference.

They're arguing over whether the results are exponential.

Hard to know whether this is working or not in the schools as they are not testing those exposed to positive cases in the same way they would in a similar workplace so full infection figures unknown.

The WHO said last week that's it's highly likely that 10% of the global population have had covid.

Press conference with numbers due at 6:30. People are mocking someone for asking what the numbers by saying its zero.

    Cheers.

It can't be good for the health of the majority, waiting for a daily dose of misery (similar to news from the front lines, it's hard not to tune in and stand by).

The comments are intersting.... this is the same lad that was in the news a few weeks ago. While this happens its not common, can't help but feel this to try get the minority who don't follow guidelines to cop on, but they can roll people out each week as they've done doesn't seem to make much difference

Relax! They're probably just waiting on some data from a lab or something. I doubt it's anything more complicated than that.

It could also simply be a media strategy to keep people focused on the conference.

That's in relation to NI no? NPHET not expected to meet til Thursday. Maybe restrictions for border counties then but don't think anything at national level expected.

So Dublin is above 200 again, surely we can say level 3 isn't working very well

Level 3 not achieving what we want in Dublin. This isn't even a plateau and a plateau is bad.
