I did a survey today and 100% of people do not want a lockdown. #FACT
I'm answering. We need a lockdown therefore I'm all for it. You are no longer at 100%, probably 50% now.

Fact is it's not about what we want, everybody wants their normal life back but we are never getting there without lockdowns.

Just delaying the inevitable I'm afraid. Controlled spread the quickest way out of this nightmare.

"The next 24 hours are crucial" - Mary Lou. What happens in 24 hours? I thought it was the next 2 weeks that were critical?

Her party are in government up there. Instead of waiting to see what they are going to do up there how about stricter border controls? but we know her response to that. Nice to know where your priorities are Mary Lou.

A controlled spread won't be quick.

A percentage is a small number. Doesn’t mean it cannot increase exponentially. I’m sorry you couldn’t understand it, I can’t help you. You assumed I didn’t know what I was talking about so I won’t be doing anything to please you.

Now that you know that the positivity rate is increasing exponentially. What do you think about that?

According to your graph its increasing 1% to less than 1% a week is it not. I didn't say it can't increase exponentially I was wondering why you used a log axis when counting from 1 to 5. Why not just use a normal graph.

That's a relief, I had been holding my breath for the last half hour.

To the pubs so! Glad we've beaten it... Was a bit weird there for a while.

Zero would be an amazing number. It's just we were at 1012 the other day. Would be a miracle to go to 0.

A controlled spread won't be quick.

Even at the rate of spread the US are seeing, it would still take 10 years to hit herd immunity levels

Just delaying the inevitable I'm afraid. Controlled spread the quickest way out of this nightmare.

Hard to know whether this is working or not in the schools as they are not testing those exposed to positive cases in the same way they would in a similar workplace so full infection figures unknown.
