Kermit, to balance up the silly abuse you get, I find it interesting to see published figures from elsewhere on the planet, because I am a planeteer. Not because I am beating myself in a frenzy of doom mongering ecstasy with a thorny whip and pouring vinegar on the wounds, but just simply because it is...interesting.

If we're adopting a planetary perspective we need to quarantine ourselves and stop any launches into space during this pandemic.
It'll be like a reverse Outer Limits episode.

Is it though? You can't just rock up to the NK border and swan on in. I'm not saying they have no cases at all but it wouldn't be a huge stretch to say they've kept a lid on it.

They had pretty open travel with China up to Feb/March iirc

Where is the context? Seems like you are just dumping these in to the thread.

Don't worry, the deniers on here will be over to offer their condolences i'm sure.

Oh wait, they don't give a sh!t about anyone but themselves.

But according to you they only have themselves to blame?

Got to keep the fear going, eh?

What's the point in your reporting cases around the world as they are announced. You banned from porn hub or something?

Maybe people find information on the subject internationally more interesting then posters constantly fighting and insulting each other, and whining.

If you are going to post different countries stats why not make it interesting and give it some context. We can take the stats from worldometers easily.

He was at that for months before his break.....This place has actually got worse since he came back and that is saying something.....

He treats this thread as his own bad news dump oh and a new one her also blames old people for getting the virus.

    Really sad actually

It's actually got ridiculous at this stage. Every other post is slagging people off and if I see the word brigade or lad again I am going to scream.

It's a pity as it has earlier been a good source of information.

Russia reports 13,520 new cases and 125 new deaths

Poland records 4,394 new cases and 35 new deaths so far today
Netherlands reports record 6,845 new cases and 12 new deaths. :/
Romania reports 2,069 new cases and 56 new deaths

Indonesia reports 3,267 new cases and 91 new deaths
You are winding a lot of posters up with posting these details every time you become aware of an update

Stop doing it or you will also be threadbanned

It's not going to happen again so stop any further commentary on this and head off to Worldometer or somewhere similar if you find such information useful

This is a discussion site, not a notice board

    Now everyone, back on topic

    Here you go.

Its just the facts as released. He isn't putting a spin or informing us of how they are handling.

Like if he copy and pasted the updates and said high numbers today but new restrictions should kick in soon it might be interesting.

There are two columns - those who have or had it. This virus attacks the lungs and the heart - that is known - that is a reality. I don't know about other organs in the body.

And the second column - those who have never had it.

I'd rather stay in the second column.

I'd go further and say if you are sensible, take precautions and follow the guidelines you will not contract this disease.

There is no excuse for contracting it except fecklessness and stupidity at this point.

There is a divide coming between those you have been infected and those who were never infected.

I don't know how that will work out but I know those who never contracted the disease will be healthier than those who have.

It is critically important, if you value your health, to not contract coronavirus. And it is so easy not to. Wear a mask, keep your distance, wash your hands....that's all.

Ah so now we're moving to blame the infected are we? How the hell is it my fault that someone gave me Covid?

You'd have done well with a megaphone in the 80s when HIV had a stigma attached. Get out of town with that nonsense and stop the blame game.

Ref Flu jabs and people saying December before they can get them. I was in getting mine this morning and nurse was saying huge uptake this year for them and they are prioritizing high risk people. Lot of those high risk would normally not get it are looking for them and expecting it straight away. This surgery only gets deliveries once a week and have run out a few times already, this may be the case with other places and why the delays.
Good to see people getting it, every little helps as they say.

    https://www.irishtimes.com/news/ireland/irish-news/number-on-pandemic-unemployment-payment-increases-by-23-265-1.4378588

23,265 more people on PUP over the last week, now at a total of 228,858. Fairly high numbers, but to be expected with the introduction of level 3. State paying out 61 million in payments to cover this.
