Donegal, Cavan and Monaghan all very high rates... What could the link possibly be

Donegal seems to have fewer cases now as not in top 5 anymore. Would be interesting to see actual county breakdown.

It is not the highest number of cases in Ireland since pandemic started. It is the highest number RECORDED. Very different things.

I honestly think all these 'told you so' comments are disgusting. Acting as if everyone's playing some sort of game. This is far from a game.

Where are the lads who said this, where are the lads who said that. Like babies.

On a serious note, is there any chance that Top Gun 2 will be released this side of Christmas?

James Bond would suit better. Since we are in deep whatever. Just give me James Bond and he'll take the care of us :D

Hit the switch to keep the lights on.

Probably that we need to make tough decisions and that the old are going to die anyway etc.

Without being too cynical, I'd say some folks were relishing the day we'd cross the 1000 barrier. Shame on them.

Can we even make it to the mid term for a circuit breaker now?

This sounds like what I had first week of February. I probably should have gone to hospital at the time but waited it out. I felt it was touch and go for a bit, but never considered it was Covid at the time.

Very possible. Contact tracers were surprised I never had a fever since first having symptoms. Fingers crossed it stays that way!

I can't wait to see the reactions when there's a vaccine approved next month.

We're going to be going up a level or two before the three week review you'd imagine.

At least some of us have the maturity to accept that things aren't going well, without the need to point and laugh at others who predicted otherwise.

I didn’t have fever either. My son did. I’ve had issues since, which are now being dealt with. Keep and eye on it, don’t take risks and take care. Good luck.

I suppose it'll be a while before we see if there's any impact with moving to level 3 countrywide. But I'd say the old level 5 isnt too far away now.

Is it not possible to calculate 14 day incidence rate per county like below if NPHET have stopped publishing case numbers for every county anymore? Forgot tweet:
