That’s a high number for cork. Highest ever case count???

That backlog will definitely produce 1000 plus cases tomorrow or Sunday....

I’m no doom merchant or anything but I see the ‘circuit breaker’ coming sooner then we think

Wow Cork cases going up and up :-( let’s hope this level 3 has an effect over the next few weeks

    Can’t speak about cork

But The sense I get from my job traveling around Leinster on a daily basis is that ppl have lost motivation and interest in getting it back to some sort of controllable number.

75% of cases in Kerry and Cork are related to large clusters so a big number today isn’t exactly surprising

    Who is Defoe?

This guy, but he's long time gone by now

Anyone know why they are holding on to the back log ..

People over react to the backlog idea. It's not being held. It's just the way the situation works.

Why are physicians who are skeptical of the government's Covid policy being forced to quit? What has what they say got to do with their professional performance?

5 dead, wonder what Dr Leo thinks now.

What an actually ridiculous attitude, what does Tony think about the cervical scandal? About allowing elderly return to nursing homes?

Get a hold of yourself. Level 3 won't have material effect for nearly another two-three weeks.

He went off the swabs you’d presume

    They are bad

    4 weeks ago 53 hospital 7 ICU

    2 weeks ago 100 hospital 17 ICU

    Today 179 Hospital 30 ICU

Not a great trend to be honest.

Odd that NI has such a higher number than ROI

I suspect it is rampant in ROI particularly around the border counties and not being picked up by testing.

Heard Newry is pretty bad and probably explains why Northern part of Louth is getting more cases than rest of the county

Really? Considering Dublin has over 25% of the population it's not bad

    It’s not at all ridiculous.

He’s spent the week since trying to find a patsy to blame.

Stephen Donnelly after a slow start is wise now to Veruca’s bull crap
