I actually think he’s not the full bob....the only way it’s an “exit strategy “ is if you close off the island like a NZ did....(and keep it closed until a vaccine is rolled out)...and we all know that’s not gonna happen...

I’m willing to hear him out, but you can’t claim something as serious as lockdown as an exit strategy without explaining what the actual exit is.

(But as we all know, the likes of Killeen’s exit is the pie in the sky Zero Covid, nothing else)

Backtracking already. He knows what's coming.

 You don't give up do you? It was always stated that a move to levels 4 or 5 could still be on the cards. It's called being open with people. But some just hear what they want to hear (a bit like Trump supporters).

RTE is really an embarrassment. Pressing people who couldn't care less about this gossiping spat between Leo and Tony, should an apology be issued.

We could ask some real questions about our current situation and what their projected situation is.... but alas, they'll just appeal to the soaps watchers.

And all we hear is the media and RTE are in the governments pocket.

Yet all day RTÉ and the media have been slating the government.

    Something doesn't add up.

I refuse to watch RTE anymore. Just look at the presenters. Government shills.

Sorry now. But they want the TV license money so it is stating the obvious that there will be no serious critique of Gov. But nphet is an easy target, and I doubt Holohan gives a total or shiny sht.

Donnelly seems fairly confident about our health surge capacity if needed.

Backtracking already. He knows what's coming.

It was clearly stated that a circuit breaker was an Future option but has to be thought through I.e. finances for pup and the effect on future borrowing, the supports for business Etc.
NPHET went rouge with a Sunday evening announcement without consulting elected public servants and deserved a slap on the wrist.

I don't remember a NPHET announcement, where can I watch this?

That's a steep increase just around when schools opened.
    Could be unrelated.

Donnelly is a spoofer isn’t he. I’ve never been so disappointed by a politician. Spoke so well in the Soc Dems.

If he seriously expects us to believe he didn’t see Leo’s interview or him and Holohan didn’t discuss it today, he’s a fool. Fine, don’t answer the question but stop bull****ting.

He's the minister for health not a talking head on gogglebox.

The Health Minister actually did not see/listen to the Tanaiste’s interview from last night? Is this a joke..?

The HERD effect, gotcha can't be seen to be uncool.

It really needs to be tackled now, and I am never one for giving out about those younger wans who socialise, I did it myself for my sins.

it is all alien to me now lol. But honestly it really doesn't take much to get with the program for all our sakes.

I suppose most of them are bored out of their skulls in Universities all over and living with their lecturer and laptop from their bedroom.

You did, and I did too, and at that age I wouldnt sit at home for something thats no danger to me

When you were smart enough to book yourself a seat in a pub that serves outdoors, whilst everyone was losing their minds...

Tbf, it's the correct answer to a silly question. Should Leo apologise to Tony isn't something anyone cares about.

And to top it... as a final plea before the whole country goes to level 3 (whether right or wrong, whether level 3 or 5) is being made, Miriam goes on a dismissive "ok" wrap it up there lad. They're dividing the country with this nonsense airtime and it's really going to hinder progress. There really is no balanced discussions anymore.

I feel most of my frustration is caused by RTE, time to logoff :D

Ah I know, but times are very different now. Still not dictating to them, but would hope they might just be a little bit sensible for a few weeks. God I sound ancient :P

Why would he care about an interview? He has bigger things to worry about. Like shining his head.

Miriam pushed him on it but he waffled her into submission.

Some gems from this clown I heard today:
    Q. “What’s a guard supposed to do tonight without any enforcement powers if they stop someone and they give an excuse.”

    A. “We’ll I’d firstly say thanks to the guard. We’re blessed to have them.”

    Q. “Who is responsible if cases and deaths surge Minister.”
    A. “The virus is responsible.”

This fella is a complete spoofer. Put him in an office job somewhere and stop him talking to people.

    Minister for Health? Jesus wept.

    Coming across very well

We need an actual plan, a plan with what we want to do rather than “ah sure we are a doing fine at the minute”
