    Interesting theory.

Larry Goodman didnt get much coverage

Not a theory. Fact. Different era, a lot more at stake than the reputation of one or two jokers. Lives at stake. If a scandal happened now because politicians were protecting mates, blood will flow. ;)

One of the residents from that Nursing Home in Laois was transfered to another care home and has since tested positive. Now all that home is to be tested.

    FFS what a disgrace

    That's a serious concern!

Hopefully it doesnt spread in that home

what if NPHET have another meeting and recommend level 5 again

The government don't want to know.
It will mark the first time the Government has rejected significant public health advice from NPHET and charted its own course.

The decision to move the whole country to Level 3 restrictions will take effect from midnight tomorrow night.

The restrictions will be reviewed by ministers in three weeks' time.

So we will have a bunch of absolute Muldoons reviewing the data and science and not scientists.

    But there you go.

Hasn't MM covered that in we don't want to go to Level 4 & 5? I'd expect the government to just announce it without any NPHET meetings.

Why are the vintners not questioning why wet pubs went to level 4 last night .Pubs are now level 4 simple as that .Level 3 is open the bars with extra restrictions in place .Level 4 is the 15 outdoors .Check the charts in place yesterday.

After everything that has happened that is quite simply criminal neglect.

Pretty decent, I was expecting carnage. Though there seems to be cases being built up for a backlog

That's a massive statement by Tedros from the WHO on vaccines today. He must have seen some of the Oxford, Moderna or Pfizer data.

What he said in August. " a vaccine against Covid-19, might never be found"

Why are nursing homes so bad ? Because they are still allowing multiple visitors. 2 per day and any of 4 visitors total.

All things considered that’s slack as fûck policy making. Gotta be more cautious.

Donegal not doing well with level 3. Derry/Strabane next door an absolute shambles. Likely spilling over into Donegal.
