It is safer to live in a room designed for people who self harm.

Joe kind of shneering at this lad, but he's no more of a weirdo than the usual whacker weirdos he has on!

We used to dread it working in the libraries, where we'd be a regular target in certain places.

I was driving through Ballyfermot few years back on Halloween night and a big row outside Tim Youngs pub. Superman was knocking the bollix out of Osama Bin Laden and Spongebob Square Pants head flew off after a kick from what looked like Darth Vader. The Paddy Wagon was full of these neanderthals as it sped off after the row was broken.up. It was a surreal and hideous sight.

Working in Ballyfermot library in the 1980s I was bitten by a rat which was deposited in the desk as I lifted it up to take it back outside. The boys whose idea was to "give them library girrrls a froight" started screaming as it dawned on them they too could have been bitten.
