I would love to know why they keep name dropping Limerick in these - we are nowhere near other counties in the past week in terms of headline numbers.

SD just on the radio & he's saying the Gov. have no intentions of increasing restrictions in those counties in the immediate future.

FF as usual no idea what the either is saying, what a government

Growleaves is correct to say that what we each individually regard as common sense is in fact our intuition providing us with a subjective framework in which to view a situation. At that point, especially when faced with the opposite view point, we should not retreat to our entrenched positions, but actually engage with the alternate view. Question ourselves, seek to challenge whether when viewed objectively our position stands and try to construct a more empirical, objective framework on which to build our position.

    you tell me

I don't follow what is happening in Scotland, since you posted the case numbers in a different country I thought you were trying to make a point. Is there an Irish international match taking place in Glasgow?

On the basis I haven't seen them , I regretfully find myself unable to answer your question. Commonsense suggests I shouldn't guess.

0.01% would say that the Publican was lacking Common Sense.

99.99% would think he knew perfectly well he was required to self isolate and considering he was showing symptoms decided money was more important and fuck everyone else.

Limerick?? He must be trying to annoy Will O’Dea.

He claims he was wasn't aware he had to restrict his movements. So as far as he was concerned rightly or wrongly he was not a danger.
More likely he's a lying turd. I do believe you posted many times about how you hated lies and dishonesty..

    That does not make sense.

HSE stats last night show the number of #covid19ireland patients in hospital reaching triple digits - there were 102 confirmed admissions as of 8pm, the first time since June 10 that confirmed admissions were over 100.

Level 4 or 5 from late Oct to April IMO.

Open letter from the medical professionals of Belgium calling for an end to the absolute draconian measures & lockdowns being imposed on populations. Provides plenty of information and reasoning as to why they have this view & other information re PCR testing + vaccine.
Will RTE or Irish media report this?

My fear is that this was not a plan but rather a toy to play with. Why is Limerick an issue?

I don't think intuition is subjective..but discussing that would bring us into a debate on metaphysics and belongs on a different forum and I have to do my work atm.

Has he been living on Mars for the past seven months or something?

Unfortunately, I think it is needed. But I am very much on the fence.

    For the 6th time.

I engaged with her alternative view.

I determined she was clearly talking out of her hole, I didn't come to that conclusion because you perceive I have some unwavering entrenched view.

What part of that is confusing you?

I won't call a named person a liar on a public forum without evidence to back up my claim.

His license will most likely be suspended for a month. A deep clean of the pub and a heartfelt apology to his neighbours and customers and life will resume for him.
What exactly would you like to happen to him?

Have you any idea what damage those level of restrictions will do to society and the economy for 6 months in the middle of Autumn /Winter.
Do you actually know what you are calling for?
    94 in hospital now btw.

Is there anywhere tracking the number of schools with cases?
I can't seem to find figures anywhere but based on the amount of reports I'm getting from friends it seems to be widespread.
I've got people telling me I was right to keep my kids at home now.

I had moved past that specific conversation and was speaking in the more general sense. And I do think I had a very similar conversation on Gupta with growleaves months ago on another thread where I essentially argued the she was talking out of her hole position in slightly more nuanced terms. But just because Gupta and the oxford teams conclusion may be wrong, does not mean we can dismiss all that they bring to the conversation. The oxford have huge experience and aspects of their message may offer better ways of managing this in the long run, even if the overall conclusion is wrong

On 2fm news there. A significant rise in cases or over 65s and a significant rise in "younger" people hospitalized. Why don't they just realease the ages of these people? My guess is it wouldn't be scary enough.

I disagree, I firmly think she knows her conclusions are wrong and are pushing them any, either because of lobby groups or ties to shady people or just because her ego won't let go.

Either way, it's nefarious and people like that should be roundly ignored IMHO, it's not like at this stage she is going to have a moment of clarity and get better.
