      When covid actually hit, I’d have preferred MM at the controls, at least he wouldn’t have had the same inclination to have his hand down the pants of corporate Ireland and tried to put something in place that was going to ensure the health and wellbeing of PEOPLE as opposed to the balance sheets of businesses.

      The OTT reactions on here earlier, calling for him to resign and how the gov was a disgrace just shows how stupid reactions on social media are.

      That was a fast result, good he is negative but he should have stayed at home today as he had symptoms, other TDs have lost positions for not complying so why should he be let off

      Not to be baldist, wasn't there a study which suggested bald men were more prone to disease than men with hair. But it didn't take into account ages apparently..

      I don't get the few comments seemingly insinuating that if he tested positive then he would be in trouble but if he is negative all is grand?

      The fact is he went to work with COVID like symptoms , it really doesn't matter what the result of the test was!

      He didn't have symptoms until this afternoon. Why should he have stayed at home when he had no symptoms at home?

      Maybe he only developed the symptoms after he arrived for work?

      Bald men have more testosterone, that'd usually come with better health in men anyway.

      Do you know all the details?

      Last week I had a head cold with no cough so went to work. I developed a cough during Thursday so went home and contacted my GP. I did nothing wrong, maybe something similar with SD.

      The amount of moaning on here is shocking.

      Yes, he was coughing at the briefing and sought advice as soon as possible afterwards. He could hardly run from the stage. Why do you say he was coughing this morning?
