If this was a job interview and I was chairing it, I'd tell him at the end that I would hope to look forward to seeing him again.

It's funny - I thought he did quite well in this interview... but I'm comparing directly with the presser this morning so make of that what you will!

ps: good film, the one you're quoting there.

    Stephen Donnelly's test negative.

    So SD is negative.

Do we think he should be allowed to keep his job now?

The OTT reactions on here earlier, calling for him to resign and how the gov was a disgrace just shows how stupid reactions on social media are.

Good to hear but it just goes to show how quickly some get tested

Great SD negative. For him personally and also it would create chaos at government and a bit of public panic.

Strange they haven't appointed a new deputy CMO, almost as if Tony will be back

    Why wouldn't he be back

Don't think people were asking for a resignation on the basis he felt unwell. All I saw were on the proviso that he turned up at the start of the day with symptoms.

They have sped up the testing process, fair play

Any sign of humble pie from any of the Boards epidemiologists.

If only all but especially positive tests could come back that quickly..!

Well he is the Minister of Health during a pandemic after all so Prioritising his test is quite reasonable, no?

Minister for health, these days, I'd expect nothing else.

All jokes aside(and I’m sure ACE would be quite a formidable CMO),if Ronan is gone to ground, who’s going to step up to the plate for the press conferences etc.??

Can we take it he’s back in the game now the Health Minister is in the clear??

He could have been a close contact of the acting CMO, there not all out of the woods yet. :)

No he didn't . He temporarily stepped back

Of course. More an issue that average test takes days. Maybe it will influence him to hire more lab scientists and contact tracers.

The whole 5 level plan is just too much detail. Remembering what each level allows. Wait until Dublin is level 4, Kildare level 3 and Laois 2!! Absolute confusion.

    If they stuck to.
    Wear a mask
    Wash your hands
    Social distance
    Limit contacts

It would be as effective and much simpler.

Did not all Trumps medical tests come back positive?

Of course Trump wrote his own medical reports, and thought positive was good.

    Stephen Donnelly's test negative.

Glad he is negative. The PR company probably should have advised he wait until tomorrow to announce that
