Theres a decent number still outstanding. Tomorrow could be quite large

Have to keep a few for the shock effect whilst revealing the new “Living with Covid “ plan.

Another load of horse manure no doubt. With many ridiculous non sensical restrictions & clear as mud roadmap

There is also research to indicate children may carry more virus in their noses than adults

It's lucky were taller than them or that would be a problem.

This is a very good chart on risks in different scenarios.

Shouting and Singing in poorly ventilated areas is a recipe for disaster. Very little said about the risks of these in relation to Pubs opening back up.

Shouting and Singing are the two things that drives incidents into the red zone regardless of scenarios below.

Apparently non food pubs (hate the other term) won't be opening on 21st in Dublin.

Sam McConkey p1ssed me off one morning when he was on Radio 1, about a fortnight ago or more, and said that really we couldn't expect a vaccine for 7 years. Whatever our expectations, he really cast the spell of doom that morning.

No surprise really but will no pubs serving just drink or telling people their allowed less people around to the house reduce numbers? We'll see, not sure really.

5000 cases a day in Dublin isn't all that mental.

RTE were reporting that some nameless official had said cases were doubling every 16 days. Here's what that looks like.
    https://www.rte.ie/news/coronavirus/2020/0912/1164692-coronavirus-nphet/

This is using numbers for Ireland, not Dublin specifically

Do we have any idea what time tomorrow the new roadmap will be released?

Would think it might reduce a bit at least but at very least could prevent or slow cases rising even further.

Wednesday is discharge day usually. Even if there was any today, the hub wouldn't reflect it as many take place after 2pm.

One would assume they'll have a presser at the usual time of 5/6

We'll see. Might wake a few people up, behave yourselves and in 3 weeks time we'll open your pubs. The dangling carrot

    Question,

If i get run down by a bus tonight and have to go to ICU, they test me and find I have COVID, do I get added to the COVID ICU stats even though I am in hospital for totally unrelated issue?

If you're a new positive case then if course you're added. Why would you think otherwise?

It’s a valid question that some people might not be sure of not everyone is an ‘expert’ on boards like you. Why the condescending post?

5000 cases a day in Dublin by the end of October if they don’t cop on according to rte.

I'd just be interested to know what percentage of the people currently in hospital with COVID are sick with COVID or other illnesses.

If your reason for admission to hospital or ICU was for one thing and along the way you tested Covid positive you shouldn’t be counted
