Anyone think the limit on 6 people indoors will be lifted anytime soon? Wondering will kids activities be allowed to take place any time soon. It's silly now they are all back to school.

Like what can.they do, a 5k limit? Unless you travel for work,?

Most are behaving, it's the younger groups that are mixing and that cant be stopped.

The army has to be mobilised.

Any young ones out enjoying life to be brought before a kangaroo court of curtain twitchers, and executed if found guilty of the heinous crime of youth

That will solve the high case's on the news every day, and make everyone think twice about restarting life

Covid 19 now in flu territory with CFR % over the last month. All great news.

Seems very harmless to anyone not already dying, also good news.

We overreacted, but its time to move on and get back to normal.

The inquest will hopefully find NPHET criminally negligent so this won't be repeated every flu season, which is a fear of mine. It was so easy implement the restrictions and kill citizens by the cancellation of cancer treatment's etc, so its important those in charge are more rational in future

Can you have an asymptomatic flu does anyone know?

Its the government dereliction of duty that is the scandal. Nphet just covering their own ass. You can tell thAt the people going into it would all be glass half empty types...

Ignore the media and read these. That's what I do. https://www.hse.ie/eng/services/news/newsfeatures/covid19-updates/coronavirus-daily-operations-updates.html A new one is released every evening.

Wasnt having a dig at the younger generation, what else can they do. But the numbers dont lie also.

My point was lockdown for Dublin would solve nothing.

The open of the pubs could spell the nearing of the end for the restrictions

Mid 2021 return for concerts (Arena sized gigs) and we could see crowds allowed in for the start of the 2021 GAA leagues

We can't keep the entertainment/sporting attendances closed forever

Have to live side by side with this ****er

This shambles is turning into public fury now.
And to add to this their precious lockdowns were a wonderful solution for the peasants of LOK (not a thought was put into them, it was just announced one Friday evening and it was tough ****) but seemingly a complete NoNo for a large city like Dublin with a far more concentrated mixing population. Nothing to do with the huge over representation of Dublin at senior Cabinet and all levels on media and public services

If it does happen the scrotes who have ignored the health measures will be fully to blame for it.

Most of those job losses dont contribute to the income tax, low level jobs that come and go.

How ? Because they're going with the 6 limit that we have as well?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,443 ✭✭✭✭stephenjmcd

They're limiting social gatherings to 6. Same as us

Have you seen the amount we are spending on social welfare? They don’t pay massive taxes but they keep people off welfare and support economic activity.
The major problem here is the runaway public spending

So when we get out of this we move forward and make all pay income tax like Sweden does.
Some good will come out of it

Oh, we may end up paying swedish levels of taxation but don't think for one second you'll get anything back from your taxes like the Swedes do.

"Well, yeah, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man"
