So the last time it was obvious that there were cases being kept back it was to introduce new measures when we got a big number, this time it looks more likely that it was to lift the restrictions in Kildare, what are the bets that Kildare gets a big number tomorrow.

Do you have any idea how ridiculous that sounds.

Nine days in a row without a reported death. Great news.

The part about not stuffing your kids with paracetamol reminded me of this :D

I would have kept restrictions on Kildare for another 2 weeks so they can learn how to behave when the rest of the country is fighting with the virus.

Good to keep reiterating that people should not automatically go to the blame game because of isolated incidents.

If there is a sharp uptick as a results of schools, I doubt it would be seen that quickly.

Anywhere on Twitter or Facebook to watch the meeting?

Also I wonder are those 100 odd workplace classes factories

With a few hundred thousand people going to meet indoors in confined space I would guess we will be hitting 300 new cases a day within a week.

I could be wrong but I reckon some people will be very disappointed if there isn't a major spike in cases as a result of the schools going back just so they can say "I told you so"

Anyone who thinks that way is a total psychopath.

So what? What's wrong with covid flu? Are people dropping dead like flies on the streets?

She has absolutely no idea if the child got the cold in school . Children have had colds without ever been near a school.

Well, she's on the covid Facebook page, I would presume she's taking the covid pandemic very seriously.

Many of us are doing what we are asked to do. Keeping our contacts low, minimising indoor public places and avoiding crowded places. Many of us are avoiding private gatherings.

She probably has a fair idea of what her and her families movements were over the past few weeks. She probably thinks the cold/possible suspect covid exposure came from school.
