Thank god everyone ok. Let's see if Bottas can do something on the restart. Would like to see his onboard from the race start. he looked in a great position coming out of la source but had dropped back from ham by the time they got to the top of eau rouge.

Ferrari: we're looking at plan b or plan c at the moment
Charles: Which one? They're both completely different can you just tell me?
    Ferrari: ;)

Bottas really needs to just go for this

Gotta make the easy win seem as difficult as possible. It's always a "challenging" race with various "issues" for Hamilton when realistically we all know before a race weekend even starts that he's highly likely to win the race.

Or maybe he panicked when he didn’t need to.

    Some really sad people here.

I think that Bottas has accepted being number 2 in the team.
I have given up on him.

Thank God for Max, not much else of interest in F1 these days.
I think he has a real chance of second.

He always has to overcome some variation of adversity..

Doesn't seem like the type to panic, never mind on a weekly basis.

    Ferrari are an absolute shambles.

You’ve never heard him panic when he thinks the car is losing power, ever?

The enjoyment of F1 the last several years hinges on who is the second Merc driver. Unfortunately Bottas is not at the level he needs to be to challenge Hamilton. He's never even layed a glove on him.

I'm sure I have but F1 drivers in general don't seem to panic too easy.

Awful stop from Ferrari with LeClerc, any reason for 5+ second stop? What is going on with the team.

They were making some adjustment to the car, but can't tell him what or why until later apparently. They don't want to compromise that last running spot.

I actually feel sorry for him and LeClerc. Vettel too obviously. Three great driver with a shyte car and shyte team. Long and short term Sainz would be better off where he is.

I don’t expect any position changes, passing or pit stops in the top 6.
This is it bar mechanical failure.

    Sad to see :(

It feels as if everyone wants to pit but won't because their rivals would stay out. Nobody has a good enough window.

Starting to get so boring. No one can come close to Mercedes and Ferrari are now Williams standard. On top of that, Mercedes seem determined to keep Bottas in the only car capable of competing. All we can hope for is that Maxs talent gives him a shot once every 6 or so races or Lewis's car breaks. I'm really starting to lose interest in a sport I love, especially knowing that next year will be the same.

So boring. So predictable. So repetitive. It’s actually cringey listening to the commentators trying to make things seem interesting.

    Come on Norris...

Lets do a cracking last lap again

In fairness they have to do something to try make it seem interesting
