The people on the streets rioting in America at the moment are violent anti-intellectual low lifes. They have no class. They are hysterical and criminal fools. Defacing public property. Invading shops. Forcing people via mob rule to raise their fists to support "BLM". Pillaging and looting under the guise of a "rights" movement.

Care to explain how re-electing DT is going to improve things.

Well, if you like wearing plastic hair, then that would make perfect sense.

Oh I see. That is the level I am dealing with.

For what it is worth Melania is gorgeous, and seems sweet. She generally looks fantastic. She has come in for constant marauding by the left leaning side of things for everything from her clothes, past nudes (priestly horror again), her Christmas decorations to her Rose Garden renovations. As someone who would never vote for someone like Trump - or Biden either, shudders!!- I have thought Melania has great taste and an aesthetic eye and did a grand old job on the previously kitschy rose garden. The persistent deranged mauling of her has been revealing.

The left despise her because she is beautiful and intelligent.

She pedaled birther conspiracies about Obama. Do you have any opinion on that?

So lefties only like stupid and ugly women? Okay.

They despise her because she represents traditional femininity.

They despise Trump because he represents traditional masculinity.

They have already made it clear they regard gender as a social construct. They feel it is whatever people choose it to be, rather than a biological reality ( unless of course you're a beautiful woman or a dominant male ..they don't get the same parity of esteem ).

If we were to see into the future from a vantage point of 2005, nobody would believe the nonsense lefties have come up with. But here we are.

if by traditional femininity you mean she is expected to put up with her husband barebacking a porn star a few weeks after giving birth then you are probably right.

and trump sure is the definition of traditional masculinity. he uses more makeup than Ru Paul.

The more that I see the BLM (Burn, Loot and Murder) protests going on, the greater chance exists that President Trump will be re-elected.

Don't the Democrats not realise that BLM is the greatest weapon in Trump's armoury right now?

Or simply is it now a monster they can no longer control?

    Cogent thoughts and debate please.

She helped push a birther conspiracy about the president. Aren't you one of the people who previously said they weren't a Trump supporter? Strangely coming across as one.

The protests and riots are not only the largest in American history, they have the support of the public across almost every demographic. Just because his base hate the idea of protesting on an issue like this, whether it be peaceful or otherwise (and the reactions to Colin Kaepernick in the NFL and now the NBA boycotts shows up the lie that they would be ok with peaceful protest), it doesn't do anything to change that.

If Trump thinks his efforts to emulate China's response to the Hong Kong protests, he is in for a rude awakening. It appears those around him have long since copped on to this too, hence their efforts to dismantle the postal services ability to sort and deliver mail in ballots instead.

So Trump told so many lies last night but the crazy thing is he just tells provable lies based on simple fact checking.

He claimed the USA was energy independent and not reliant on foreign energy sources. In reality the US imports vast amounts of crude oil from overseas at an average of 188 million barrels of oil per month in 2020 so far. While it is correct that domestic production has increased significantly and US oil exports have increased, this started under Obama and Trump has continued that increase in domestic production. So while there is less reliance on foreign oil the US remains a net oil importer.

He also claimed (again) credit for the Veterans Choice Act. This was actually enacted by Obama in 2014. Here's a picture of Obama signing it into law in 2014 form the White House archive with the caption:

Did you miss the 4200 posts when you rocked in here to instigate a debate?

Trump could have used BLM to greatly help his chances in November, he could have acknowledged the pain suffered by the Black community, he could have appointed a high profile team with Kanye front and centre to look in to ways to overcome this, and he could have used this group to talk about what he was going to do if they returned him and he could have made sure they would not report back for at least 12 months and then pointed to this as his efforts to fix the problem.

I'm glad he showed his true colours (and his incapacity to think politically) in not doing this because it has would have been entirely disingenuous.

I think the confusion is the US is a net exporter of petroleum products (eg Gasoline/petrol) but a net importer by 2m barrels of raw crude

The fake tan and makeup screams traditional masculinity alright. :) The knots you Trumpists tie yourselves in must be absolutely exhausting.

So you can insult trumps physical appearance, but anyone daring to criticize Michelle Obama in the same way or use Joe's nickname gets banned?

Trump claims energy independence to rile up the base. It's at best a misleading claim designed to lead people to an inaccurate conclusion.

Why would his base hate peaceful protest that promulgate equal rights? This is a nonsensical statement. Trump supporters and Republicans in general are avowed to upholding the Constitution.

How can you make the incredible jump in comparing China's virtual annexation of Hong Kong's legal system to Trump sending in Federal support to maintain Law and Order? Trump only ordered this after Democrat Mayors abrogated their responsibilties and duties.

Easily impressed aren't we. Basically Trump's & the RNC message was: things are really terrible in many parts of the country and I couldn't do anything to solve those problems in the last 4 years but give me 4 more years anyway because none of the problems are my fault.

If he gave a truthful account of his term, not many people would vote for him. So it makes more sense to pretend to run as a new candidate who will fix the mess (created by him).

Care to explain how re-electing DT is going to improve things.

It probably won't although I can see the point of sending in reinforcements to areas being burned by bored and neurotic frat kids high on the stink of idiotic identity politics.
Biden winning would be like rewarding screaming toddlers. But there is a big part of me hopes he wins so the Dems have to deal with the idiocy they have fostered whereby college dorms are going back to racial segregation, people can be mobbed in public if they do not kneel or raise a fist, and big strapping boys will be beating the girls in athletics and taking their scholarships.

It espouses a typical masculine value of clinging to youth as you are aging. Same as buying a flash sports car or trading the wife for a younger model.

Really? Take a walk down the street, how many elderly/retired male Builders, Mechanics, Soldiers, office workers, Retail workers, Police/fire/paramedics will you see wearing thick make up while going about thier business?

Face it, Tan in a can man is vain and not very "masculine" at all.
