Thank Christ no underage shotgun weddings took place during the incident.

Lads I'm absolutely thrilled with the government, I dunno about you but I think things are really looking up. Completely assuaged any worries I had, it's all in hand now that Captain Fantastic and the Rambunctious Crew are leading things. We really have the upper hand on things and I can't wait for the next few weeks. xxx

Half hour extra to sit inside a pub drinking and eating with others but completely ban people from attending outdoor sports events.

    You couldn’t make it up.

Crazy to think Gardai could close down a pub because they walk in at the wrong moment and someone is acting the bollocks

So basically, there have been some huge outbreaks caused by food factories and direct provision centres so we are taking some measures that in no way relate to the problems just to look like we are doing something about it while ignoring it.

Not at the match, after the match is where the risk lies.

U14s drinking pints in the local?

My guess is that Leo was due to attend that conference but something came up at the last minute, so MM asked Ryan to stand there so the podium wouldn't be empty.

He had to finish watching Mean Girls 2.

That was car crash viewing lads. A number of back log cases conveniently added into today 190 total to run with the new measurements in place. The last 24hrs had 31 positive tests.

Sporting events behind closed doors is without a doubt a stupid decision.

So if you want to have a party with your mates, one of you has to get married.

    Sorted.

Edited my post, i mean airports, he announced it again this evening
And my answer is the same, mass testing elsewhere. At 3 case out of every 100 it's not really a huge priority. They are planning to do random when the next batch of mass testing of care homes and meat plants is done.

Fair dues to the sign team. By far the most competent people on that stage today - and that's without being able to fúcking understand them!

Christ any person watching that press conference will probably be even more confused than they were originally.

He's quite good actually. Took over the job in very difficult circumstances

I think Glynn is capable, but Tony definitely had more authority. The change in personnel overall has not helped us.

They are stopping people going to sporting events so they don't meet before and after, while facilitating people to meet more.

They said they're testing all meat factories and direct provision camps

The more confusing you make it, the less people will buy into it.

Still 105 minute limit per table so the extra half hour is literally irrelevant to everyone bar the restaurants themselves who may be able to take an extra table and make more money in a difficult time. Don't see any issue with that at all.

Testing will only find cases, not prevent them.
