    They may want to be seen as proactive, but what they are actually doing is ultra reactive. No change in 7 day average in over a week and looks like the last 24 hours is the lowest daily positive rate in a couple of weeks

    Yes. Yes, they do.
    They also will have drafted multiple speeches prior to this meeting to cover many eventuality. Similar to a corporation releasing a press release after a legal case. They draft all reasonable possible outcomes and then publish the one most appropriate.

    It only goes one way if new restrictions aren't put in place but outdoor games being affected in place of some obvious red flags that should be address instead is ludicrous.

    All that they'll see now is a pissed off nation who'll lose their head even more when these restrictions have no impact.

    Might not even be true though, so let's see.

    We dont know how many more cases than 31 there has been over the last 2 days. There are 150 held over from the previous 48 hours, but if they are from Saturday or Sunday, we don't know
