Sounds like you're guessing. Why is that?

because neither you nor I know for sure what happened.

But going on Trumps record i would say they kept him well away from it to stop him mouthing off and ruining the negotiations.

Saying that he may have been informed in his daily brief but as has been reported he doesnt take any notice of those so maybe thats why he never mentioned it.

He was not removed from office.

no one has claimed that though, do you see that as a win?

    So was Clinton.
Impeachment doesn't mean someone will be removed.

Donald Trump, the president of peace.

Can you give examples of what he's done?

Can you give examples of what he's done?

    Can you?

Can you list three very positive things Trump has done since he took office that has had positive impact on the people of the US?

Nobody here has said otherwise! What are you even arguing, besides a strawman?

As Cody clearly does not support Trump why would it be his responsibility to argue another user's case for them? It's perfectly okay to ask someone claiming he is the "president of peace" to substantiate that remark.

Then why did you bring it up?

Either way. Come December 2020 Trump will probably still be your president.

Cody, I'd imagine is well able to speak for himself....

Can you name 3 things Trump has done that has had a positive impact on the people of the US?

You're asking the wrong guy. I responded to you.

As for why it's brought up: because he was impeached, because he was impeached for jeopardizing our diplomacy with Ukraine, because he was impeached but Senate Republicans and Trumps impeachment managers took the tact of 'leave it for the voters to decide in November' rather than allow witnesses at his impeachment trial, thus moving to acquit him. So, the voters will decide, and the fact that he is impeached is still a salient election issue.:
“Most importantly, most importantly,” Cipollone said, explaining what he asked of them, “to respect and defend the sacred right of every American to vote and to choose their president. The election is only months away. The American people are entitled to choose their president.”

This has always been the ultimate fallback strategy for Trump’s lawyers. Even if senators find the president guilty of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress, they should not administer Trump the political death penalty because the 2020 campaign has already begun.

    [...]

So, knowing the vast majority of GOP votes were in his pocket, Cipollone ended his pitch Tuesday by aiming at those few wavering Republicans and possibly one or two Democrats.

“The American people are entitled to choose their president,” he said. “Overturning the last election and massively interfering with the upcoming one would cause serious and lasting damage.”
Either way. Come December 2020 Trump will probably still be your president.

Is this really all you have to contribute Biko, memes without commentary and #StillYourPresident? I would have expected a lot better.

Win or lose however he'd still be the President in December...

I have no interest in arguing that case. If you do, you're more than welcome to name 3 things Trump has done that has had a positive impact on the people of the US. If you want to argue it, argue it yourself, nobody is taken in by your sophomoric reverse psychology.

Closing in on 200,000 dead and what does #IMPOTUS care about? His hair

Trump will still be President come December 2020 yes, biko. That's whether he loses the election or not, of course, since inauguration isn't until 2021.

Have you anything apart from memes and taunts to add to the thread, though?

Absolutely pathetic. It'd be funny if the situation wasn't so serious. A laughable human being.

Ah yes, don't address the responses to the factually incorrect shiite you posted earlier, just ignore them and post some stupid soundbite instead. Typical modus operandi of a Trump fanboy.

What is actually juvenile is avoiding the issues that Americans will have to confront in the coming months as they decide who to vote for....

    On what basis?
    • Trailing badly in the polls.
    • Highest unemployment since the great depression.
    • Nearly 3 times the deaths US experienced in Vietnam in 5 months.
    • Hasn't acted on reports Russia was paying bounties for US soldiers being killed.
    • Has placed a lackey in the Post Office to try to prevent people from voting.
    • Pardoned a criminal who said that if he wasn't pardoned, he would flip on the President.
    • Republican groups are actively campaigning against him.

What evidence is there that he is likely to win aside from you guys hoping he will?

I'm not saying he definitely won't because there is time to go yet, but can you support your assertions with any argument?

Edit: As correctly pointed out, the inauguration does not take place until January 2021. I would still be interested in responses to this if you feel it will be a reinauguration on that date.

I'm not certain if Trump truly has delusions about his hair being great or if he just recognises it as part of his brand. Those two things could be the same in his mind, though.

It's more the weird fake tan line that gets me. That just smacks of someone who's not all there. It's orange face and then milky white jowls. It's like he applies it himself without even bothering to check it in a mirror.

Then stop avoiding them and pretending that you are waiting for others to make your argument for you, wholesale. If you want to bring it up, bring it up, quit playing infantile games.

He will be president in December unless something happens to him.

If you can't name three policies that have had a positive impact on the people of the US then it explains how you can't see what is coming in November, it is not an infantile game to ask a person who clearly has very strong opinions on a President to name three policies....it demonstrates a complete inability to view a sitting President in an objective manner!!!

Do you think the death of 200,000 Americans will weigh on people's minds in November?

    Go away with your hyperbole....

Is he responsible for every death in the US every year?

Are Governors responsible for every death in their state?

He's responsible for the complete lack of a federal response. He's responsible for pushing states to open early. He's responsible for making masks into a political issue. He handled it disastrously and continues to, he's even gone as far as attacking the experts. So no, I do think his response to it matters. He basically treated it as a joke from early on and seems to just expect it to disappear all on its own. Then claims their response was great.

And voters will view it as an important issue come November.
