I believe its perfectly normal at that stage to test on 76 people only? Tests on more people follow in later phases and yes they're skipping phases but surely they wouldnt test on more people if they had indications the thing wasn't safe.

I don't know why people are harking on about year long test phases. These take normally 4 to 7 years from what I've ready. Sure everyone can see why unprecedented measures have to be taken. Do you want to wait 4 years?

All the others vaccines even if they're only ready next year will be taking short cuts too.

All this 99% accurate is in perfect conditions, performed by a professional.

In the nursing homes for example the nurses that work there are doing the tests, they were shown for 5 mins how to perform the test, they are so inconsistent from nurse to nurse, they might as well not bother testing.

I've been tested 4 times now and each time was different, it's a hard test to give

Given that Putin is a good old fashioned propagandist you really can't tell what it is. Skipping phases is a very bad sign. If it is really that good why not announce and wait until after they do trials properly? Why hide the data on it, more importantly? Whatever sense we can make of in this evolving COVID-19 landscape, we have learnt to sniff out things that look dodgy and this looks dodgy.

As for a vaccine I'll get a shot when there's a safe effective one. Most of us are well down the list so even if we do get one quite soon it'll be well into 2021 before it's our turn.

Clusters now appearing throughout the country. Schools wont be able to stay open beyond 6 weeks or so. Clusters are even forming in GAA clubs now who in general have handled this very well

Waterford just lost their near month-long case free streak. Very few counties now more than a week case free. I think it's only Leitrim, Longford and maybe Sligo are 7+ days without a case.

The Lockdown probably should have been Kildare/Dublin(mainly due to it being obviously densely populated, more potential for it to grow) Laois numbers seem to be like the majority other counties. Too much emphasis on incidence rate per population which has its limitations especially in county with a low population.
