And when you're driving, does the rate of your acceleration increase as your speed goes up?

No not necessarily. But let's not get bogged down into analogies that may or may not fit.

Between you and the wall is a downward slope getting steeper every metre.

Are you still pressing gently on the pedal?

Ah now we're just making things up. Next you gonna tell me there's actually an abyss 30 metres before the wall. I don't think the analogy is fitting.

Hes put his foot through the floor dont worry about it. Hes a big mouth if he thinks hes safe but when in trouble hell be the first to run to the hospital crying. Read the post hes obviously weighed up his selfish risk.

So why are we locking counties down then when we have 10 people in hospital?
So that the large number of cases identified in those counties does not become a community spread. The hospital issue has gone for now but as Glynn said they are still focused on public health.

Thankfully I was way out but it might mean we'll have a backlog of cases added in in the days ahead?

I think the additional test results that were not included last weekend have since been included in today's testing figures

What's happening with all these unreported positive cases from yesterday and today?

Have these discrepancies between reported cases and positive test figures ever been explained?

12 in Dublin, 11 in Kildare, 7 in Offaly, remainder in Clare, Donegal, Limerick, Meath, Roscommon, Tipperary and Wicklow

    13 cases of community transmission

Ok I get that but isn't that what test & trace is for? Why whole counties?

16% of cases associated with community transmission over the last week, still very low

He will, at the end of the fortnight. Its the minimum cycle to ensure sporadic outbreaks have been contained. Once the figures in LOK match the pattern in the rest of the Country you can rejoin the level of activity of the rest.
