That could become my very own high mileage hero

I wouldn't have balls, but seen one recently with 950k km on one of the YouTube channels.

Is that 1.9 same as the older ones that could go forever?

I’m back on the look out for a banger after a brief stint in a 2010 Avensis.

I know I should go for something sensible Fluence/Laguna 1.5 Or similar as it would make most sense.

I do approx 80km a day to and from work mix of motorway and back roads. Nothing major.

We live down a really small Road about 2k and the surface is bad also need something with a hitch for pulling a trailer tent on occasion or another trailer.

I’m tempted by a 4X4/crewcab for the winter but know it’s madness. Oh I Need back Seats for kids. Has to be reliable. Could go higher Money for the right solution.

Any suggestions or am I looking for the impossible.

    Thanks

https://www.donedeal.ie/view/25630958 RENAULT LAGUNA AUTO 2.0DCI NEW NCTD

Nice spec and condition Laguna. Is the 2.0DCI as reliable as the 1.5?

Any concern with the auto box in this?

I'd prefer the 2.0 1.5 is too small for size of var

Just wondering is it possible to get a car sub 2k that is no older than 2012? If so what makes/models pop up in this category.

Fiat Panda or Citroen C1/Peugeot 107 would be your best bet. 2012 would be a stretch, but 2010/2011 is doable easily enough

Saw that today in my hunt for an auto estate.

    2006 Avensis (yeah it's a petrol! :D)
No mention of mileage, but certainly looks clean inside and out without any major wear signs
NCT until March 2021 and advert says it's taxed until March also!
Current owner has it over 7 years
Looks a genuine car for the asking price of €795
Can't see this one hanging around

    Excellent find.

    Excellent find.

If it drives, stops and turns you can't get a better value with tax and Nct until 03/21.

It is literally free car :)

Right in the hot spot for bangeromics icon given its reliability record.

I always love when the reg matches the place it’s being sold from. Always a good sign.

    ...except it’s Cavan :pac:

Looks like she got a smack in the back at some stage and was fixed on the cheap.

Probably very low mileage on her seeing as how it's cheaper to walk.
