East Flanders, because I hate flags that have the name of the place on them.

Marche - its unique and a likely competition winner.

Also, how gorgeous are these silk flags? Wish I had have found this database earlier. Some of them really pop

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,511 ✭✭✭Purgative

Yes, they do really pop. Marche especially. Some Turkeys might not do much for. :)

East Flanders. It's a little scary and hectic, but better than the competition. The Marche features an unappealing pigeon with explosive diarrhoea. :(

East Flanders by a last minute 65.

East Flanders, good use of green and white together. Not a fan of flags with the name on them.

Agree about the wavy flags, they're excellent.

Marché liked it from the start

East Flanders bags a spot in the last eight.

I'll run the remaining Round 3 matches tomorrow and then it's quarter final time with lovely silky flags for all. Thanks for playing.

I'm late again but Brittany. I like the starkness, the evil.

Two more matches for decision before the quarter final stage. Let's get down to it.

Canaries for me. Prefer the colour scheme and the place itself

I'd replace East Flanders with either of them, both are decent. But I prefer Abruzzo, as it has a nice, strong, bold colour scheme.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 7,432 Mod ✭✭✭✭cdeb

Yeah, agree on the Abruzzo colour scheme. Maybe it's just the new wavy flags that are doing it better justice here! The red really stands out well.

Both are decent. But I think I slightly prefer the Canary Islands one. The colours work well together and I like the crest.

    Canary Islands

Like them both but Abruzzo is far more eyecatching and I agree that the red instantly stands out.

This is somewhat harsh but JohnGreen's vote came a mere 1 minute after the deadline.

It's Canary Islands progressing into quarter final.

Last spot in 1/4 final up fpr grabs here... Who have you got?

    Ile-de-France.

The other one is a bit too British.

  • Moderators, Recreation & Hobbies Moderators Posts: 16,287 Mod ✭✭✭✭quickbeam

Ceuta - about the only B&W one I like, because the crest takes it above the others.

Pah! Boards wouldn't co-operate with me for about 5 minutes beforehand.

Ceuta gets my vote, the other one is too boring.

Ile de France, I don't like black and white flags.

Ile-de-France is a classic, but Ceuta looks better on the wavy version that it did on the plain version. The splash of red in the centre of a plain black and white looks well. I'll go with Ceuta.
