Tuscany - horses with wings win every time.

Tuscany because it is closer to Veneto

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,907 ✭✭✭ Cosmo Kramer

    Definitely Tuscany of those two.

    Tuscany. That’s a pretty horsey.

I do like both, but gonna go with Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur because I do like the funky fish (that everyone keeps calling a dolphin).

Canary Islands, just nicer. Plaiin B&W don't impress me much.

Canary Islands. Don't know if I've mentioned it before, but I don't like black and white flags.

Canary Islands. Much prefer the color to the dull b&w.

Canary Islands I like the Christmas Tree thing but this is more elegant. Plus I want to be there now.

Canary islands. Are they dogs on the flag? Didn't notice that before. Love dogs.

  • Registered Users Posts: 32,956 ✭✭✭✭ Omackeral

Canary dogs, funnily enough! That’s what the islands are named after, not birds.

    There's my new fun fact!

Canary Islands - bright flag, nice crest. I like it a lot.

  • Moderators, Recreation & Hobbies Moderators Posts: 16,286 Mod ✭✭✭✭ quickbeam

A close up of the crest for those still in doubt.

And that’s that, Canary Islands claim the last semi final spot

They do look like good doggies. Yes you are, you're such good doggies, aren't you?

Holy crap, Canary dogs are not cute and cuddly like on that flag, look at the beasts...!

    Just read this

In County Galway, Ireland in 2017, a woman was killed when she entered her son's home and was attacked by three of these dogs, which were being used by the son as guard dogs

Feel like I just voted for Trump. :(

Tuscany and the Canary Islands for me.

Horse and dogs basically, though I prefer the colour on both to the other two also.

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,966 ✭✭✭✭ alchemist33

Cueta. I like Tuscanys horse but the interesting pattern of Cueta trumps it.

And the Canaries - nice doggies, and I just find the other one too plain.

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,327 ✭✭✭ Electric Nitwit

Tuscany, though that ones close. I prefer the simplicity of it, it's a good skill to create something unique with such little detailing

Canaries. Obviously the doggies on the flag are cute and that's what we're judging on, never mind the actual ones would tear your face off in a second. The Rioja colour scheme is too much. Green and gold should only ever be seen in Donegal!

  • Registered Users, Subscribers Posts: 47,129 ✭✭✭✭ Zaph

Tuscany - it's only OK, but it's not predominantly black and white

La Rioja - the colours are more appealing than the Canaries flag.

Tuscanny - difficult choice, both decent banners but the red really pops on the white and a nice horse.

La Rioja - voted for them both on the way up, but no way is the Canaries flag (nice enough in itself) an accurate representation of the hound of the Baskervilles it represents. Its like Clare having a Rottweiler on their jerseys. Bait and switch.
